Good guide, I started a lich without even knowing what one was and thought “well this is gonna be my whole month now” but after watching the guide I got through it in a couple days, literally only because I had to farm requiem mods for the first time.
@@a2zisboo If you can research the basic components in the dojo for stuff like weapons and ordnance, really shouldn't take too long to get decent stuff. Took me about a week, not even massively sweating the game out or anything. The real problem is that for some reason enemies in railjack missions can be over four times as tough as their star chart counterparts.

Always keep three Reqs in your parazon. Don't leave slots empty if you're going to test Req combinations, even if you only know one Req. Filling all three slots gives you a chance of discovering extra Reqs with no drawback.

an important thing this guide didn´t mention! if you ´´down´´ the lich and don´t stab it, 3 times, it will LEAVE and not level up. if you´re a mid level player this can be extremely useful, you can gather all 3 murmurs before the litch leaves earth!!!!
The only thing I would add to this guide is that once you successfully figure out the combination of runes and then stab the lich to make it retreat to the Railjack mission, is that you shouldn't (especially as a newer person to liches) instantly abort the mission, because when you stab with the correct runes, you actually have a decent chance of getting an Oull rune, and if you abort the mission, you forfeit this rune as far as I know.
@@Manlikedee An Oull rune is a rune that can fit in to effectively act as any other rune, so if you dont have one of the runes that your lich/sister needs, an Oull rune can fill the slot of said missing rune.

Update: What I noticed is they reduced the amount of murmurs needed to reveal the mod in the Kuva liches, but the added more on the Sisters of Parvos Liches, so now it is not that much of the grind in Kuva liches.
@@georgekraft5803 It used to be 4 dogs to get the first murmur, now it goes way more, i do not remember how many. Still the amount of time getting parvos weapons is way easier than kuva but it was a nice buff to kuva weapons.

When you wanna take him down try to find someone nice in q/a or recruitment chat. I got carried through the whole process

Typing this before I finish watching the video. I took a break from the game and came back to Rev prime and all that other stuff. Went to kill my lich cause it kept stealing my shit and then it said it went to some proxima and I got lost for like a good 5 minutes. Then I came here to see what I need to know. I know this is geared towards solo (not that squads work anyway after DE fucked it by making the Lich completely move planet after a stab forcing you out of a squad to go to it) but I feel you didn't make it clear enough that it’s not FASTER or more efficient to avoid stabbing your Lich. 😊 Only avoid stabbing if you insist on keeping the level as low as possible. Which is fine if you need to but not the most efficient way. The DE change and the “not stab meta” is kinda infuriating when running in random pubs where so many ppl now avoid stabbing, making everyone else miss out on the extra murmur and faster progression. Which was the whole point of doing squads. Some ppl don't even stab at all until they know like all of the mods. That's bc of the vid Az did tho. I think a lot of ppl not stabbing avoid it bc they think it's faster; “Finish your Lich in two stabs” - as Az said. That sounds fast. But it's just to keep the level low. Also, you should always have requiem mods on, no matter if you know any or not. You might get lucky. I actually guessed all three one time and often guess one. It does not consume charges until you get it right. Edit: If you have an OOUL (joker) mod, the Lich will most likely not get over level 3 anyway. So still always go for the second stab, even if you don’t know the other mods.
if you intent on farming a lot of liches, go for a kuva hek as one of your first kuva weapons. with a corrosive build it will melt through the liches with the alt fire, and it gets even crazier when you start stacking on buffs like ivara's headshot multiplier from prowl and primary deadhead from steel path making it so that you can blast a lich into the shadow realm with only one shot when you get to the confrontation
I farm a lot of kuva liches and I found a good passive farm is the apothic plants for growing power and other rare mods. Most of the plants needed are on the kuva liches planets, earth/night cycle for growing power plant scans, and ceres also.
brother i have watched countless half assed warframe "beginner" friendly tutorial videos on kuva lich and and none of them came close to this level of quality. it's like finding gold among heap of garbage.
I have a 5 forma tonkor from the old days. I was currious how the kuva version could be an upgrade, but this answered that question as well. Sounds fun though! I'll take it easy.
Do the requiem mods expire after a successful takedown? I came back after 4-5 years off from playing, and I remember they expired during the initial implementation of this absolutely atrocious system.
2:34 I would also NOTE here to make sure to put it on SOLO mode or Friends Only and not on Public. Stinks when you join someone else's mission and you can't get it to spawn and you are wondering why. Also, I have never seen the Larvling spawn before capturing the target on Cassini. (LR4 here, trying to help a friend, so I am gonna refer them to your vid! Overall pretty good guide!)

Thank god DE listened to us because back when lichs first came, it took forever to fill up the Murmurs, took at least 2days with constant grind for a single slot. They then cut it down where you could at least do em all in a day. My first lich wasnt fun literally, bro kept breaking my back 10fold and it took me at least 3weeks of afterschool and a helpful player with tiatania to kill him.

Edit: I use Oull in the last or second spot to speed it up. Cuz if u use Oull, u don't know which word is the real one. So might as well try the first two word u find, then oull to be able to check the order correctly. Like that, u should never have a lvl 5 lich, only lvl 4 max if i'm not mistaken. So far i got lucky with some runs, but i only fought lvl 3 (thus the overall farm was really fast, like 1h30 or less).
I had him for 2 months and didn't know I needed Requiems to finish him, he's now level 5 and still barely have any Requiems to finish the job. Thank you for telling me no other frame tuber wouldn't tell from the very start
Still at day 80ish playing warframe then I decided to hunt some kuva lich. When hunting for murmurs, I do the long missions first(defense, intercept), then the quick ones last (exterminate, capture, rescue). By the time you're in the last 1 or 2 nodes, you're nearly done with the 2nd requiem mod.
ive had the same lich for like 2 years. i finally decided to kill him since he was so damn annoying yapping. this is a big help cause i still dont know what im doing😂
That run though is the worst case scenario, the third requiem being first in slot is the most painful kill order to get, because you dont even know what the second or third one is at level 3, high stress situation. Liches get stitches for taking riches and being bitches, superflicious.
You can spawn liches without having to do raljack, you just can't do the final mission without them. The best element for the kuva bramma is heat, radiation, or magnetic, as its mostly what you want to focus the weapon on with heat being grineer, magentic being for corpus or radiation for universal crowd control. its very rare, but liches can spawn when they are still indifferent, ive had them spawn on the second mission before lol.
I'm mr 6 and I accidentally spawned a lich without knowing what would happen when I killed that guy with that marker thingy during a fortress mission ;-;
I just came back from a 3 year hiatus and had no idea what to do. Sadly now i do and my lich is level 3. Lol thank you for this guide now i wont be a noob. Haha
Missions spawn different amount of thralls defense and survival being most which is 10 with no lich spawn but if lich spawns you can get up to 20 it all depends on when you get it to spawn so example going through mission and say you have gotten through 5 thrall and lich spawns it will only get up to 15 if you leave the lich alone and allow him to convert the enemies in the mission

Thanks for the video, I tried other creators but they didn't enlighten me as you did. Took me all to complete it an finally got my lich an didn't get a weapon after she was killed. Things was moving so fast I pressed convert an not vanquish an wondering if that's the reason I didn't get a weapon. Wish id seen this vid earlier, i make a lot of mistake....i dont even have a single requim mod things...keep killing the thing that give the clue for requim mod...and also now my kuva lich base is on kuva fortress which their mission is now level 90-100+ and im only mr12 with somewhat below avg weapon n damage and im f****🤣
This is a brilliant guide, but man. I've played a lot of games so far, and didn't find Warframe too bad up until now, but this grind is a brain-rotten level of abhorrent bloat. So I need to farm special enemies for a chance to drop special relics, to then get a random mod, of which I need who-knows how many different types, and then I play lotto with the Lich to slowly and tediously trial-and-error myself towards his combinations, all the while dying endlessly unless I cheese him because accidentally throwing yourself into this whole mess can be done at a relatively weak power level which simply isn't adequate to deal with the Lich. And to top it off, if you haven't grinded Railjack you're again gonna struggle. All this and the game can still spit you in the face and give you a bad roll on your % stat.
One tip I’ll say is to equip a random combination of requiem mods instead of nothing just in case you’re lucky and get 1,2, or all of them right! Great video
First ever Kuva Litch on a Nidus Prime with an Extermnus platoon and Stalker in the same mission. My day went well... Didn't even knew what happen till I saw Earth get corrupted...
Banshee seems to have been seriously nerfed. I took a break from warframe and came back. Used my good ole Banshee lich killer build and it was not working as well. You can no longer one shot a lich with Sonar.
For spawning the lich you have to do the objective and wait for the screen to flash like said in the video after that you have to kill 10 enemies in 1 minute. I think this would help some of you guys if ur confused on requirements
So I I came here because I have a Lich. However just wanted to point out I have not done the railjack quest so that is not required to spawn one, but since you need one to finish it’s recommended
Pro tip i you think you are unprepaired for the railjack mission, buy an engineer engineers basically give your railjack god mode. Or just join a public session.

Hey Just wanna know, if I get lich level 5 and convert it, is it more powerful ally than lvl 1 ? Im new tenno, would love if someone explains this.

AINT NO WAY I GET 26% RAD when the minimum is 25% FFS
Crazy information, after the screen starts to flicker you have to kill 10 enemies within a minute otherwise the Kuva Larvling won't spawn

toxin is a better element to have on a bramma for grineer due to 1 mod corrosive/ viral and 2 mod viral slash and 2 mod corrosive heat
heats also a good option tho since it’s 2 mod gas electric and 2 mod corrosive heat or viral heat

Missions spawn different amount of thralls defense and survival being most which is 10 with no lich spawn but if lich spawns you can get up to 20 it all depends on when you get it to spawn so example going through mission and say you have gotten through 5 thrall and lich spawns it will only get up to 15 if you leave the lich alone and allow him to convert the enemies in the mission
I accidantely spawned a kuva and i was like is this an event why does no one talk about this and why does this monstrosety yells and steels stuff from me
I fucking did not vanquish him I didn't know i had to vanquish him to get the weapon
you should have told us to get 3 oulls from the jump bruh... lol

Thanks for the video, I tried other creators but they didn't enlighten me as you did. Took me all to complete it an finally got my lich an didn't get a weapon after she was killed. Things was moving so fast I pressed convert an not vanquish an wondering if that's the reason I didn't get a weapon. I didn't know what I was doing but I did complete it with a group an pretty disappointed 😢
Wish id seen this vid earlier, i make a lot of mistake....i dont even have a single requim mod things...keep killing the thing that give the clue for requim mod...and also now my kuva lich base is on kuva fortress which their mission is now level 90-100+ and im only mr12 with somewhat below avg weapon n damage and im f****🤣

This is a brilliant guide, but man. I've played a lot of games so far, and didn't find Warframe too bad up until now, but this grind is a brain-rotten level of abhorrent bloat.
So I need to farm special enemies for a chance to drop special relics, to then get a random mod, of which I need who-knows how many different types, and then I play lotto with the Lich to slowly and tediously trial-and-error myself towards his combinations, all the while dying endlessly unless I cheese him because accidentally throwing yourself into this whole mess can be done at a relatively weak power level which simply isn't adequate to deal with the Lich. And to top it off, if you haven't grinded Railjack you're again gonna struggle. All this and the game can still spit you in the face and give you a bad roll on your % stat.
One tip I’ll say is to equip a random combination of requiem mods instead of nothing just in case you’re lucky and get 1,2, or all of them right! Great video
That's if you know you can handle high-level missions as if you messed up (you definitely will), then the kuva lich will level up.

Banshee seems to have been seriously nerfed. I took a break from warframe and came back. Used my good ole Banshee lich killer build and it was not working as well. You can no longer one shot a lich with Sonar.

For spawning the lich you have to do the objective and wait for the screen to flash like said in the video after that you have to kill 10 enemies in 1 minute. I think this would help some of you guys if ur confused on requirements

So I I came here because I have a Lich. However just wanted to point out I have not done the railjack quest so that is not required to spawn one, but since you need one to finish it’s recommended

I played during the old system, came back, and had an unkillable lich until I got railjack 😭
So what I’m hearing is I’m no where close to lichs yet 😭

Pro tip i you think you are unprepaired for the railjack mission, buy an engineer engineers basically give your railjack god mode. Or just join a public session.
