I just purchased the original studio buds and the app says that the warranty started in April. They’re going back.

I use my beats studio buds with poweramp music amp app that comes with eq settings. So you can adjust the treble etc. So earbuds are going to sound different to everybody else

“You never know you could be on a Treadmill in a 24 foot building the building comes down and you get flung out the window.” Will your earbuds survive? My question is will I survive like tf?

I ended up settling for these as Beats does make (Or others do at least) ear tips that aren't memory foam that fit in my weird, sweaty ears. I've tried the Pixel Buds Pro, 3 different Anker ear buds (Soundcore Life 3i, Liberty 4 NC, and the newer Soundcore P40i) and only the 3i would fit but they had horrible ANC and transparency modes. I can live without ANC but transparency is paramount to me and the Studio + buds do this and everything else just fine.
In the end these are perfectly average earbuds that for everyone else, are too expensive for what they offer. But in my unique case, I can have a pair of earbuds that do the same as others with tips that fit not just in the case, but my weird ears as well. I will only say to buy these if you want something that can fit in your ear with 3rd party tips that aren't memory foam like SpinFit or Diofit (who make double flange style tips).
Besides price, my only gripes is I wish there was a low latency mode on android (It's not on iPhone, you guys are lucky) and official multipoint support. But that kinda works on my Tab S9 and Chromecast easily so it's a pass.

I actually thought these were going to be good but after a day I ended up returning these. Firstly I kept having to make sure they don't call out when I'm at the gym and secondly the call quality sucks. I had to take them off when talking on the phone. Only good thing about these are the design and music but unfortunately it wasn't enough for me to keep them so I ended up going for the galaxy buds pro 2. Best decision I've made.

I got the originals and had to get memory foam ear tips. With the memory foam tips I train in the gym doing decline presses etc and they don't fall out.
Won't upgrade to these tho cos to me they'd be a downgrade cos I heard numerous times that the beats plus lack a bit of bass compared to the original buds.(And the bass on the original is decent but even those are a bit toned down compared to the original beats bass heavy sound)
And I listen to a lot of bass driven music. So less bass might be "better sound" to an audiophile but not to me 🤣

@onpoint357 To me, the bass on the studio buds+ were really good but yea I heard that getting memory foam tips would be the better decision so they can be more secure in your ear. I just mainly didn't like how the call quality is.

The Galaxy Buds are in a different bracket really and compete more directly with the AirPod Pro 2’s. That’s why they are better. Apple doesn’t want to push the Beats to much as they want the AirPods to remain top dog. The issue with that is that a lot of these headsets go on sale, so it muddies the water a bit. Even the AirPod Pro 2’s go on sale for $199 from time to time. I would get those all day over the Beats if the price difference is only 30 bucks.

I wear memory foam tips with my original studio buds and get good passive noise cancellation with noise cancelling off and much better with it turned on. And they stay in my ear in the gym.

Great review! What other options are out there I would only use them for the gym. Recommendations please!

For gym use I find that 1. Secure fit and 2. Anc are the most important - aside fro the beats fit pros there are a few other beats earbuds with wrap around stucture to keep a secure fit. But the cheapest earbuds I ACTUALLY use regularly when I dont have my beats are the DEFUNC TRUE BASIC - they were $29 here and tho they don't have a true ANC mode, they fit very comfortable and tight enough to induce a more natural acti e noise canceling.

I would never by the transparency color cos that's the color that EVERYBODY and they mama gonna buy 🤣🤣. If I was going to get them them I'd get the clean low profile lblack and gold.
