I didn’t buy a 60,000$ truck to save the leather seats for the next owner. It’s 2-300$ to replace the leather lower in the drivers seat if you kill them
I agree PLUS I have the cooled seats be pretty tough to feel the effects of that!!

I have marathon seat covers front and back on my 06 duramax. Spendy but well worth it they have been great the 4 years I've had them. Haven't changed since day 1 and hold up well with dogs in the back seat
I used Cabelas for the first 10 years of my 2006 ram 2500. At 34 dollars each you will not find a better deal. I recently rebuilt that truck from the frame up and I chose leather seat covers from caltrend. The fit and color were exact. They were 400 for the front two seats and 400 for the back bench. My seats were factory cloth and the caltrend basically gave me leather seats in 5 minutes of work or less per seat. Very pleased with them and now that I've had them for 5 months I would buy them again. We shall see in 5 years!

I have marathons for about a year and I love them
I've always ran cabela's trail gear seat covers. They are a universal fit but have straps that tighten them to the seat and laces on the sides to snug them to the seat. Love them, they are a nice thick material, the best part, did 2 front buckets and a rear bench for $85!
Have had the same marathon seat covers on my work truck for five years! Personal truck for about the same amount of time. I love them
I use wet okole covers in my work truck and my dad uses them in his truck. His first set lasted 5-6 years. They are expensive. Mainly due to them being neoprene. But the fit and finish is spot on

I recently got a new truck the 1st thing I bought were seat covers. They were expensive but well worth the cash! I went with the wet okole cover because I have kids and cloth seats! Only down side on them was they were a pain to install on the back seat!

I bought the same covers years ago, but my truck has cloth seats. That’s when you put seat covers on Greg. That’s why you slide( you have leather man). Mine are still in good shape. When I bought mine they only had a couple of colors to choose from. Dark grey was not one of them. Covercraft covers, which you have are better in my opinion. Now covercraft come in many colors, including many camouflage in many kind of patterns
Awesome awesome video Greg A, I just run some Walmart specials in my truck they don’t even last a year lol, but I’m liking those new ones made out of Cordura and Made In USA lol. Maybe if you think the seat covers are worthy since they’re made to order, see if you can get them to stitch the Wrenchworks logo into them, and add them to the online store for us to buy lol, then there’d be no better seat cover on the market lol.

My dad got some universal Cabelas seat covers for $30. He had them for about 4 years, then he get a truck with lether, so l used them for a year, then gave them to a friend who is still using them. So they are about 6 years old with no tears and still looking good. Not bad for $30.
Saddleman Ballistic canvas seat covers. Had them for a couple years so far and no complaints
Love my Marathons. Good choice.
I had those same seat savers. Mine faded, and the cloth stains and to clean you always have to take them off. I went with coverking rhinohide this time, I like you can wipe them off, really look like leather. We will see how they hold up, they do have a break in period and they’re getting softer and fitting better

Do they have them for a 2nd gen,my CTD seats are OEM factory new so Ive been using some I had but the way my seat belts are made in my seat they don't work very well any ideas would help me thanks,keep on a wrenching.
We have those seat covers on all our work trucks and our semi trucks, The seat savers anyway. So 70 diff vehicles. They definitely are great

I bought cabelas seat covers bout a year ago they fit perfectly heavy duty canvas kinda like carthart material, they were bout40 bucks per seat, another question unrelated to this video dose Greg A do his own tunes?
I run sportsman camo seat covers and they fit really tight. They have bungee cords that are adjustable instead of Velcro and are handmade in Mississippi. Little pricey but high quality and I’m partial being from Mississippi.
I personally like those seat covers so much more!

Down here in Hawaii we use a great brand called “wet okole” there water proof and they fit very well in my ram. There a bit more pricey than the ones your using now but definitely the best bang for your buck
I run Old school saddlemans saddle blanket seat covers. Love the look but they have the slide in bunch up problem too.

Carhartt. They fit like a glove and do a good job protecting the seats from our 3 kids. Spilling juice and making crumbs. You’ll know all about it soon.
Love the idea of having a cover over the center counsel. Those trucks are famous for getting holes in them from elbows over time

Just bought 06 mega 5.9 6 speed two months ago and one of the first things I did was the marathon seat covers... They last forever...(of course I'm bias because there made in my hometown of Bozeman Montana)..... Also, on your seat covers, after two or three weeks re-tighten your velcro on them as they will stretch some
I rock some camo covers from the auto parts store. They're cheap, so when they get too dirty or wear out, they get replaced

I bought the Cover Craft (Carhartt) seat covers in the color “Gravel” They would have matched your truck really well..
they certainly look better than the cover king tactical set I bought. I did get the front and back seats though and it doesn't look like Marathon makes the backseat ones.

You must have got the wrong color before. I also love your truck . I have always been a dodge guy and I recently got a ford and not even two weeks later it is getting towed and it is what I call my rolling garbage can.
What tints do you have on the tow pig?
Use the opposing self adhesive velcro inside the console so you can use the lower portion of the cover
SaddleMan Ballistic are great for work truck. Katzkin Leather for my daily driver.

I think seat covers serve a good purpose but my truck is more of a daily not a work truck so I am less worried about ruining the leather, but my left side of my leather seat it starting to crack so seat covers maybe could have helped with that...

I run Dickies on my OBS 7.3. They are about $40, but lifetime warranty. They rip, wear out, or whatever else. U call there call center and they will ship a new one out to u.

I don't run seat covers because they look terrible, and a replacement seat bottom is less than what you paid for the new covers
What do you do for a living?
With cloth style seat covers, run them through the washer and let them air dry. Then install and watch how much better, and less stiff, they go on.
Also to the people below that said your videos were getting boring, you just wait until the 05 and the new race truck get back in the videos!!!

Cabela’s Seat covers are really thick and Durable and they are pretty cheap talk in like 23 bucks per each seat and 35 for the back I was able to get a crew cab F350 done for like 80 bucks
None I bought leather to use it . Can be cleaned just as easy as a cover

if i had leather seats i wouldn't cover them up defeats the purpose of having them. they are probably just as tough as the canvas covers and will probably crack if the covers are there or not over time. i feel like just replacing the actual material on the seat when it gets destroyed wouldn't be that much more that the really nice seat covers. nothing wrong with trying to prevent damage though.
