Hi Sheila, Paddy loves a swim nowadays.........he has turned into a proper Jersey bean! Oh and yes, you need to keep going down to the pier and the viewpoint at the end! Well worth a visit and it's not far! 👍🏻
Paddy, you've got a lot of energy packed in that little body!! Awesome times in the water!! If I could even get Otis to put his paw in I would claim it as a victory! LOL
Paddy enjoyed that he is definitely a water dog. If you were a naughty boy at your school Tom did they send you off to bed without any supper. I am assuming it was a boarding School. I remember going on what was called field studies and sailing with my school on the Northumbrian coast for a whole week. We all had a great time when you are fourteen and away from home, what a great adventure it was. A lovely walk and lovely views. Cheers
When Paddy first arrived in Jersey he wasn't sure about the sea! The time we took him down to St. Brelades before this he started swimming out and I actually got worried he wasn't going to turn back to shore! 😁 You are right Nic it was a boarding school and if you were naughty you got caned! Oh and before you ask.....I did get caned when I was 14, before turning it around and becoming House Captain of one of the ten Senior Houses. The school was called Christ's Hospital and it relocated to Horsham, Sussex after being burnt down in the great fire of London! Check it out on the internet........it is an amazing place! Glad you enjoyed the walk my friend! 👍🏻
Thanks tom for showing us all the beauty of St brelade, I once took my two very rude gnomes and placed them in that beautiful water fountain to photo and then send those photos anonymously to my friends😂, it back fired as I had a customs search and the customs officers were not too convinced of my explanation 😂 until I showed them my photos.we always go to St brelades Church to light a candle to friends that had passed.a beautiful church with beautiful scenery ,many thanks tom once again
Hi Tom, Another excellent post and giving the date at the start was good. We actually arrived on that date for 10 days.. looking forward to the walk from noirmont to portlet. We are back again on 22nd Aug .. can't stay away..😂

Hi Lloyd, 😁😁I don't think the girls in St. Brelades had a chance back in those days, what with you and John Mullin running around! 😁😁😁 I think I would rather support Manchester United than go for a swim in the ice bath known as the sea.........and believe me I couldn't think of anything worse than that! 😁😁😁

😁😁😁 Hi Bruce, I'm with Otis on this one...............that water is way to cold for me to even consider putting my paw in! 😁😁😁😁
Great walk so far! We always take the footpath behind the church to Beauport…this one at the beginning was totally new to me…have to try it next year!
Good idea my friend.....mix it up a bit! 👍🏻
