3220 are such unusual dimensions to me as a primarily quad guy. But I got into R/C through helis so I'm glad to be back here and soak it all up. ;) cheers
I just don’t like harnesses because it’s a lot of extra wire and more connections, more resistance, and more heat. So might as well just make the pack you need but! If you plan on using the packs for other things then yeah use a harness. It’s not hard to replace a cell. Most of the time I only take a cell out of its bad and turn a 4s into a 3s and so on, but you need a spot welder.
@@westhobbiesrc8051 Well I have not flown a 700 on 12S yet so I cannot compare. For my needs (sport 3D) it is perfect. I would think it flies like a TB60 on 6S.
Nice L shape there on those antennas but wouldn't you want those nulls pointing a little more towards the ground or the sky? I mean not that it would matter with antenna-diversity and an LOS model but hey.^^
Antennas transmit a 360° signal. Hence the reason they are out and away from the carbon fiber frame size. Because carbon fiber blocks signal. As long as the antennas are out and away from any carbon fiber obstructions, they will transmit a 360° range no matter which way they are pointed.
Thank you, Larry! Vincent is a great guy. I talk to him a lot at IRCHA. I decided to buy this motor and give it a shot because I am a big Xnova person so time to try something new.
I’m gonna repeat myself and say Jeff you rock clean builds, particularly the wiring
Thank you Paul! I great appreciate it!

Quads definitely Run much smaller motors! Wait till you see the 5040 I have coming.
Hello Jeff,
Your videos are always so informative about many different aspects of this hobby and are greatly appreciated.🧙♂👍
Hello Robert! Thank you very much! I great appreciate it. I try to help and share my knowledge!
Makes me want to build an 8S pack for my 6S TB60 kit for funsies.
Do it! When you can’t buy it you make it!
You do so much cool battery stuff!
When you can’t buy it, you make it!
Beautiful end result. Love your videos, sorry for me spamming!^^
Thank you! Let’s hope it stays together!
Good luck
Thank you!
That is bad ass. Love it.
Thank you! Something different!
Nice job on the 8s. I just buy a series harness. Maybe show us how to replace a bad cell? If its not to dangerous.

Dude I run 8S and that HW 150 on my TB70..
That’s a light setup on a TB70! How does it fly on 8s?

Hello, can you tell me what timing setting is best for this motor ? Thank ❤
Is this a new heli? I can’t find it anywhere
Older model
No, it’s a old discontinued model. The RAW 420 is what they have now.

Would Telemetry Receiver work with a DX8?
Yes, the DX8 can transmit and except telemetry.
It’s a real shame SAB doesn’t follow up with the speed Heli, a 550 would be nice
I really really hope they bring out a 550/600 size comet!
DSMX SRXL2 Serial Receiver with Telemetry P-SPM4651T work with dx8
Yes it will. You just have to use a iKon or brain 2 or telemetry capable aFBL to submit telemetry.
Ungodly….. unholy setup
It’s a big power setup for a small heli lol
Amazing Helicopter, Fantastic EGODRIFT MOTOR FROM VINCENT AT EGODRIFT!!!!! JEFF, HAVE YOU THOUGHT ABOUT GETTING A K.S.E. Tri Blade MainBlade!!!
