Please can you show me the placement of your multimeter with a screenshot when u discovered the shortened ic which later makes the other ic read perfectly.. thanks
I normally use the alarm on the volt meter , it beeps and the red light turns on indicating GND which is the grounds , it’s like some components have both sides reading GND but not all , if you find difficulties in doing it you have to get an additional same board you’re working on to guide you in order to know if the component you want to remove or replace is really damaged , all the best big man 👍🏼
