love it. I'd modify it in a heartbeat if it was mine. Not outrageous, but definitely headers, cam, x pipe and E85.
Justin, def a dream car of mine! ( a modded 19' ZR-1 by LMR!). Headed to Bowling Green this week for the BIG Buick GS Nationals!! 4 days of drag racing & car show. Can't wait to see some of the quickest Grand Nationals & GS's in Corvette country!:). Will stop by the Museum Friday(I'll wave at the camera LOL) & also keep an eagle eye out for any ZR1 camo cars! Ha

I would say leave your manual car stock as your the original buyer and it is so special. Now if you get super lucky, just buy another one and mod it while keeping your current car.

I have a ZR1 too. am not crazy about the color, ceramic matrix gray, but it is 1 in 11 based on how it’s configured.
I’m also fortunate to have LMR in my backyard. They are doing some crazy things with the LT5

That ZR1 sounded amazing but Justin for the sound I would probably go for it and nothing more as you mentioned the value is in a stock ZR1 which collector's admirer and you can easily change back to a stock exhaust.

If you truly believe you’re not going to sell the ZR1, I say do what your heart is content with. If you have the car and consider selling it later down the road, then it feels like the car is more of a collector’s item and you can’t enjoy it to your fullest content.
I know when I get a Corvette C8 Z06 one day, especially now that Competition Yellow is available, I plan on keeping it for the rest of my life. And I’m only in my mid twenties currently. I want to be able to have the Z06 as the car I can always go to enjoy driving. I don’t ever want to sell it
I’m all for any C7 content. Unless you’re setting one on fire or jumping it or something. Also he should get that instrument cluster checked out. Seems to glitch passed 67 mph…

I’d advise you not to do headers and other HP mods because as you said people don’t want pay as much to buy modified ZR1’s and the biggest reason is emissions testing which is only going to get more difficult to pass going forward. I’m leaving my ZR1 stock except for the Jake GM Air Filter. We have a bunch of crazy Dems running things out here in Colorado and they’re following the California plan to be 100% EV new car sales by 2035. Hi performance shops out here won’t even do headers.

I agree. It’s worth $250k today, or at least that’s what I have been offered already. I think the car will be worth much more down the road. As you pointed out Justin, it’s the last of its kind
