Hog Canyon, Trail 5 & 7. Kanab Utah.

This is one of my favorite trails. It's always got some really good challenges and is always changing. Kanab and the surrounding area have a huge amount of trails for OffRoad, Hiking or Biking.

Very cool video! I have a ride mapped through the really steep hill called Tom’s canyon, do you know what numbered trail that is?

That is on trail 7, near the east end. I believe the section we winched up is called the Gate Keeper.
Enjoy your ride through there, it's an outstanding trail.

Thank you for responding! Last question, my husband and I both have Honda Talons, mine has 30’s and he has 32’s, how do you think they will do climbing that last part you had to winch up? Worried about that 2nd step up. Lol

My guess is that you'll probably have to winch up it, although you didn't mention 2 or 4 seaters.
We run 32" M-1 Evils and on that trip they were really hooking up but that obstacle that day I just couldn't get a hold.
There is a great tree for winching were you need it.

That trail is awesome and right up your alley. Ron is new to the difficult stuff and as you can see he walked right through it.
