So sad Silverton banned UTVS!!! We stayed at the bent elbow and filled every room for a week! So lake city is our new place to stay. Loved your vids! Ride Safe😊
Good to see some new people taking in The San Juan Mountains. Look up 3B a spur off of Stony Pass, takes you up to a very old mine. Monster lumber Used. If you have 50 inchers you can go up Lost Trails Creek(what we call 8 mile) Its about 3 miles behind the Rio Grande Reservoir .Its no easy run. You have to go over Stoney Pass and down Timber Hill( Very Rough) Great video. " Thanx Fer Sharin'
Love the videos!! Y’all do a good job showing the ride from different perspectives and the beautiful landscape of the areas also. I want to Ride Colorado and see all those amazing views one day.
Sadly the house we stayed in did not allow pets. Just wasn’t the same not having our little ride’n buddy there with us. Thanks for the support, it’s very appreciated!!
Sadly not, they changed the laws the year after we visited. As of right now you cannot ride your utv’s in the town. Which is really sad because we saw so many when we were there and several rental places in town. I’m sure it’s really hurting their business. Hopefully they will change back one of these days.
Actually… it was rather warm when in town. Got into the upper 80s/lower 90s, even the locals said it was unusually warm. However when we got upwards of 12-13k ft up it was very pleasant.
Yeah, they made that change almost 3 years ago. We were there just about a month before that rule changed. It’s really sad because we saw a lot of riders in town and a lot of local businesses relied on that traffic too. Hopefully they’ll go back, but for now we you can’t.
They did until this past year when they banned it. Several other cities in the area have done the same in the past, but they eventually revert back. Silverton will be UTV friendly again.
@@lzroutdoors im headed that way in June, hopefully they allow them again but it’s understandable if they don’t do many people abuse their welcome, hopefully everyone can show respect they are welcome back
@@lzroutdoors My SxS is closeer to a Jeep than a RZR. I have a 4-cyl engine, automotive style drivetrain (clutch & 5-speed manual transmisson). But CO doen't recoginize my ride as street legal and can't be registered/licensed.

Was it cold up there?
