Fedmyster was a massive OTV streamer and had people come out but never went to court so he is just all fine with everything he was doing?
Also if the nature of these allegations make it hard for people to be proven in a court of law because of evidence being so difficult to scrounge together on top of being so conflicted as this was their FRIEND for some of the victims
This attitude is why victims don’t come forward because they just get berated and shut down
Also this isn’t me saying that people can’t change but it is telling of how people can convince themselves of absolutely anything and give whoever they like a green light if they like the person regardless of circumstance
Honestly I think anyone can change. We shouldn't gatekeep/police him for the rest of his life, like a parent holding their child's hand. Both sides need to move on and he's already lost his role as Byleth and stopped VA'ing for 5+ years whilst recovering through rehab and medication, I say that's good enough punishment for me.
If people believe there could've been more then maybe ask his victims why they didn't have him convicted in the court, they had access to hundreds of resources to legally have him held accountable. Yet they still didn't do it. I had a hard time asking myself this why, I will never know.
I hate the Internet.
I mean he can go get a job as a cashier, no problem. 🤷🏽♀️ nobody will support a sexual abuser and why should we? I don’t know him personally, I don’t know if he changed or not. So no thanks he can stay where he belongs, far away from any hoyo game for ever ☺️

You see I believe in changing yourself and working towards being better person but the damage has been done. Especially since the things that he has done weren't only simple mistakes. We are talking about abuse lasting for over 10 years towards partners, friends and coworkers. Not to mention weird sexual stuff. His "redemption" from this lasted like what a year after initial controversy until he started voice acting again? His apologies to the victims were pitiful attempt to look good in the public eyes even the victims pointed it out.
But as I said I believe in bettering yourself but if Niosi would really want to atone for what he did he wouldn't try to get back to being a public figure again. Giving people such a big platform (being va in any hoyo games gives you enormous boost in popularity, basically making u an influencer) is a dangerous thing because we're basically puting people in position of power. You can't just carelessly give former abuser such position. It is dangerous especially because the majority of playerbase are teenagers that are easilly subjected to manipulation and can easily become victims. Not to mention how this looks for other victims of abuse (not only those that were harmed by Niosi but also by other people). This basically shows that few sobby words how abusers life was destroyed is enough for them to not face any consequences. It's harmful and it is not how it should work in society.
Also an important fact Niosi already made one va quit AFTER his supposed complete change so idk if I believe in his words.
In conclusion yes, Niosi can change, maybe he alredy did, maybe he will in the future but he shouldn't be given public platform again. He can live a normal life and have normal job like most people do.
I feel like if they have done all the punishments and it wasnt under what was deserved and they are still getting it tough then whats the point of the legal system or legal action. Cus like unless you kill ngs or like you a diddy type of guy then you should be accepted back into society im not saying that aslong as its not bad it should be forgottenbut like chill ya know (sry for yapfest godbless)

I do feel like people can change, but it requires self awareness to reflect on yourself and what you’ve done to others in order to do so properly. And unfortunately for him, you have to convince others as well. He shouldn’t be excused, but if he did take steps into bettering himself and his actions have convinced others to put their name on the line and vouch, then it’s a great sign and I’m happy for him. But I think you’ll always be judged for it and that’s what’s comes with the territory of doing bad and he has to face that just as much. It’s not fair, but what he did was also not fair to the people he’s damaged. Just feel bad if he can’t find work to put a roof over his head and food on a plate. Not sure if it was mental illness or what - I don’t really know much about this guy at all, just a vague idea on what he did, just my two cents
It wouldn’t surprise me if they end up delaying the characters release until at least 2.6 Because of needing to get a new English voice actor
People „forgiving“ and defending him when not even some of his victims forgave him because he DID NOT even spoke to them is crazy 😂
Well to be fair for most of them the situation is basically like this
"Guys he's changed, could you please forgive him. Wait he hasn't changed? He lied to me? Well sorry guys i didn't know he is still a jerk. I will not be supporting him anymore"
I extremely rarely comment to videos and what not but I think this is something worth commenting on.
People need to understand that Hoyo is a company like any other.
Why would they start checking people's background before hiring ? My point is that it's not their fault that after whatever happened XYZ voice actor felt exposed and decided to back down.
At the current day and age of internet people go nuts over everything.
My question is........why are we letting random people who have access to the internet enforce their believes and opinions on matters that do not involve them.......
I think people forget MiHoyo is a business. They aren’t going to care about someone’s past if they aren’t convicted. Just look at Nickelodeon and Disney 👀 messed up people all over the place.

Hoyo ask a company for the actors. The USA voice actors are from that company. The only trade hoyo had to change the actor was because Chris step out of the job since it was causing damage to his friends like sumday Va.
