It's been almost 20 years and this game still brings back memories. My young brother and I will always play it together. I will always use the knee strike and my brother will use the acrobatic throw. Really missed these moments. Until now Double Dragon III is my favorable video game I have ever played.

The memories of this game, first time I played it I had no energy left at the last battle, and I saw that mummy turn into a snake and thought it was gone, then Noiram comes up and kills Billy and, you don't do that with me, Billy was my boy, I had much trouble with Noiram for months, until one day I lamented to a friend of mine over it who played and beat the game and told me to use Chin and his Iron Claw, next time Noiram and I fought SHE was the one laid out on the floor, the Iron Claw causes MASSIVE damage to her. For the Italy boss I used Ranzou, same with the mummies.
I've not played this game for several years and im still fairly certain I could run the entire game through and not get hit a single time. Muscle memory lol. I know that's a huge claim but my brother and I played this damn near till our fingers bled lol

Finally a play through without someone spamming spin kick the entire game. All those cool extra moves added to this one(wall jump, flip throw, running attacks) and people just spam spin kick. I never could see how people can be content being that trash at a video game or how they could have fun spamming one move the entire game.
I personally think the spin kick shouldn't be as good as it is. While it is technically correct that it takes more skill to not abuse the spin kick, I would still say not doing so causes you to play in a riskier way that would make you get hit more than if you spam the same move. At least I get hit fewer times when I just focus on the spin kick. Anyways, I think it's a tough balance trying to figure out how much to use that move and I can understand spamming it because I think doing anything else is, in a way, artificially increasing the difficulty. Yes, it's cheap and a bit boring, but it works.
Does nobody know that if you and your partner line your characters up on top of each other then jump and do the spin kick simultaneously it does a huge one with further reach and power? I've not seen anybody on any double dragon 3 video do this. Try it. I assure you it does work.
I did do it at 21:45, and I don't personally think I just rediscovered it at that moment. As for why I didn't do it more, at least part of the reason would have to be because I was playing this game with a guy who didn't want to use the hurricane kick as much as I would like. A second possibility is just the difficulty of getting both players into the same position. I wasn't doing voice chat back when I made this video.
Since this is one of my older videos, it looks especially bad because it's 30fps, and while this game is 30fps, the flicker still looks better at 60fps. These days, I also always use the no sprite limit option for emulation, which makes flicker less of a problem.
You guys don't help each other at all. When I played with my childhood friend, we would attack an enemy from right and left. And you don't rely on bouncing off wall kicks/attacks.. But anyway thanks for sharing. This was one of our favorite when we were little...

You have to jump towards the wall,press the kick button, then you'll jump off the wall and the kick happens automatically. I don't know if you can read English so if not, hopefully the translator will help.
