- Another Be'lakor cover. Sloppy playing in some parts but I wanted to get this done before the holiday season. I'll be away from my recording stuff for some 1-2 weeks so no more covers for this year Im afraid.

Actually there were tabs for the other 2 on net but for this one its the first, I just checked it on my guitar, its 100% correct but i am also not sure for the last part. Once more great job! :)
Reaper Redeemer ah ok :P I hardly use tabs anymore. This is actually one of the things i would change in my guitar "career" if i could... I spent some ten years playing with tabs. Now for 1 year ive practised playing by ear and its wonderful. My tabs might not be 100% accurate, but its how i play :P

Moonsorrow is propably my all time fav band with Bal-Sagoth...
They just have the most epic melodies, could listen to them all non-stop. Just wish other people would hear it too.

Can you please cover Be'Lakor's Countless Skies? This is their Stairway to Heaven and one of the best Melodic-Deathmetal Songs ever written.
Ive started learning it few times already but quit for some reason i dont remember. It will probably be the next belakor cover i do, but when, i cant tell. at the moment i dont really feel like doing another belakor cover

For some reason I cant wrap my head around the alternate picking @ 2:18. How do you do it without hitting ALL THE STRINGS. Lol.
well, to be honest i dont think im playing that good myself either. But I did use to play that kind of stuff quite a lot back in high school times when i was in a band. We used to practise lot of these finnish bands; stam1na and mokoma. they have this kind of riffs i think but much simpler and not so "melodic" if you know what i mean. Stam1na - usko pois has one of my all time fav riffs to play too.

what do I have to buy to play like this? A guitar a pc and an usb cable? :)
guitar and some sort of modeling interface (in my case a pod x3). Line 6 has great tools for reasonable price.

I played by ear and didnt do any tabs but sure i could do the tabs for the parts i play on this video... Ill reply here again when im done and link them in video description

Hartsai Thank you so much! I'm not skilled and patient enough to play it by ear. Lead guitar is not actually my cup of tea and I've never played it by myself.

Oh actually i think lead guitar is way easier than rhythm :p Well soloing can be hard but id say if ur good at rhythm is all good, leads are usually the easy ones. I wasnt that good at ear playing like a year ago (and still not that great). Some months after i started this channel i started trying to learn songs by ear and its been good. Actually feels almost like ive wasted 10 years of practising using tabs only only :/
what is the technique called to do the riff at 2:19?
Not sure if it is. just normal playing. If anything then the index finger barre.
Specifically the strumming is what Im struggling with. Are you doing Down strum on the G string then up on E? Thanks for the help and crazy fast reply.
Should be just alternate picking, string skipping might be hard at first and by no mean am i playing it perfectly here as well.Might be easier to start with something that you dont have to barre, just open note instead.

I have the floyd rose version. And.....i wish I didnt. Re tuning and re stringing....the biggest pain in the dick. I keep it in standard for the sake of my own sanity.
@@FenrisulfrAgni Change the strings one by one and tune it as you change. The more important thing is using same string gauge and brand. It will be much easier.
