So I followed these instructions exactly, and 15 minutes into my first drive, the struts fired up through the shock mount. The struts pushed the rubber shock mount bushing clean through the steel housing. That wider steel washer you tossed away? Yeah, it's supposed to go between the strut and the shock mount. I'm furious. If I lived in the US, I'd be contacting a lawyer. I sincerely hope that other people see my comment and don't make the mistake of taking these videos seriously.
look up speedys garage on UA-cam and he has really detailed videos on how to do all the suspension on his challenger but it's the exact same for 300s and chargers
+@A1_Libra We wouldn't be able to diagnose an issue like that here, you may want to have a local mechanic take a look at it. Thanks for checking us out! 1aau.to/m/Shop-1AAuto-c
Thanks for the reply. And I'll be looking forward to it... Please do add verbal info for people adding coilovers to the rear... The front is exactly the same process so no need to show/tell I can share that video around. And plenty of views will hit. Stock is always needed but that extra info for them coilovers would be super helpful.
Hello guys I need help! I just been told from the mechanics that my car use a self leveling shock absorbers with part Nr. 681431AB. I check and they cost a lot! Can i use some other parts who cost less or without self leveling?
hell i need big help around these shock absorbers! i searche verywhere and i cannot find the Sachs replasmemt and everyone ask me the vin nummmber. but my car is in Europe and the vin is not the same like in Usa! it is very simple. whats the difference between RWD and AWD chrysler 300 year 2013. 3.6 penta star. why? i think all the REAR shock absorber are the same. mine is luxury edition without self leveling. now i dont know what to buy for ma car! everyone say different. which part is for my car correct??? Mine is AWD fit this maybe will change front because is AWD but rear what difference does it make?
+Zivko Manev The part in this video fits your application, and the install should be the same or similar. Buy this part on 1AAuto.com: 1aau.to/m/Shop-1AAuto-c
+N3KO_o The shock shouldn't have any movement in it. If it is moving and the base where the bolt goes through, the bolt may not be tightened enough. If this doesn't resolve the issue that you are experiencing, please call our customer service staff at 888-844-3393 and we can take a look at your order for you. I bought these for my 06 charger but the bottom part of the shock moves left and right. Did I get the wrong ones?

I've replaced rear shock mount 2 times and bushing keeps coming out of the metal mount. Anyone know why this might be happening?
Aftermarket parts just do that some times or possibly over tightened.
Cause you don’t know what you’re doing
You said 53 foot pounds what does that means and how do you determine that by sight
+Jonathan Ramos The bottom shock bolt requires 53 FT LBS of torque. Hope this helps you out. 1aauto.com
Put some air in that dang tire too!
+IcarusTech Thanks for the tip!
Thank you for the vid.. but be honest! That wasn’t the 2006 Chrysler 300 in the beginning of the video lol
It has a 300C front end swapped on.
*Caution
This video only suitable for normal rear shock ab. Nivomet type shocks need a strap.
