I just started being a commercial plumber, going onto 5 months and man you just made me love what I’m doing even more. I never looked at it in the way you explained it throughout this whole video. You really made me love what I’m doing even more. Much respect and wish you nothing but the best🤙🏽
I've recently been thinking about going into plumbing myself. I've done so many different jobs from security, cashiering, janitorial, nothing that really interested me just due to the fact that I hate staying in one spot. I feel like taking up a trade like plumbing, or even electrician would be something I'd be interested in. Not to mention it would be a good thing to learn plumbing for my own good. I know a bit of electrical stuff from my dad since he was an electrician, but I would much rather learn plumbing.
You’re amazing Kenny, you’ve inspired me to pursue a career in the skilled trades, I always have a smile on my face when your videos come up and I totally enjoy watching them :), thank you, THANK YOU, for being awesome
Woah.. This video just gave me goosebumps man. Very powerful. Good job Kenny. I respect you’re growth. You deserve it after all the hard work and sacrifices you had to do. God bless you.🙏🏻
I have been Plumbing over 20 years. Served an apprenticeship, became a Journeyman. Had a short detour from Plumbing and started building houses. Then cam back to Plumbing and fell in love with it. At first it was goal to become the best tradesman I could be. When I came back to it, it became a relationship.
Thank you so much for your helpful words. I’m in college for plumbing techniques and I have to say it’s taught me a lot including the math for parallel offsets and finding travel. I can’t wait to start looking for a job and become an apprentice!
Very well said buddy...i am almost 2years now and i guess i like it so much now... its good.. its a pride when you step inside clients unit to fix their plumbing problems and when you get out knowing that you made it.. wow.. what a nice feelings. The 2 times thank you from them is like a thousand times.❤❤❤
I'm currently in IT and planning my transition to plumbing. Not only are sedentary desk jobs rotting my brain, I can't stand corporate culture and the rise of tracking software in computers is really creepy.
Man, I struggle finding a career that I want to do, I’m currently in the mechanic field and I was looking into the business industry, but I can’t see myself doing work like that and i stumbled upon trades and other labor type work, this video makes me sooo excited to watch all of your plumbing day in the life… Thank you for building up my interest even further in plumbing.🙏🏼
Man that was mesmerizing! Something about putting together a "puzzle" as you said is addictive to watch and actually do... I'm switching careers and contemplating going the plumbing route or electrician, keep up the good work Kenny!
Thank you for such an inspirational video! The puzzles is what really intrigued me, I never even considered plumbing as a career, you might’ve just changed my life!
you are a true inspiration bro! been following you for a while and took your plumbing math course. as a plumbing student, you make it easy to love plumbing even more! Keep it up
OK, another great video, even though I have left (temporarily) the plumbing field, I am back full time in HVAC. As you said these are "trades" not jobs, if more people would look at it like that, I think the trades would be far more respected by those outside of them as we could show some pride in our work, not just do it, but love it and take pride in it. Another great job, great commentary. Thanks for all that you do!
Thanks David! Glad you’re using your hands and loving the process. THAT is the point of it! I’m proud that you’re growing as a tradesperson! Growth is the most important process! Hope you’re well brother ❤️
I’m 25 and in hvac. Came across some union plumbers at a job site I’m at right now. I talk to them every day. I don’t really enjoy what I do but I really enjoy the work they do, it’s like art. They keep telling to switch over but I’m not sure if I want to start over. I feel like it’s a bit late for me. Although their foreman told me he started at 28. So that made me feel better.
Great video! I’ve been trying to make the difficult decision to potentially switch to plumbing. I went to school for plumbing 7 years ago and than ended up making beer for the last 7 years as a brewer at a craft brewery. I live in a small town where none of the licensed plumbers want an apprentice unfortunately.
I appreciate your thoughtfulness in this field. Im currently looking for a another Job within Construction and would love to see if plumbing fits for me as welding so far is not.
This sort of thing makes me want to get into plumbing. The problem solving, the seeing a craft done with your own hands, etc. My only concern is at 32 with some back pain I'd struggle with it. Though service/residential seems alot lighter (lifting wise at least?) than commercial and industrial. Currently in college for engineering, but I feel like the hands on and people service oriented aspect of plumbing just clicks with me. Just worry about wrecking my body.
Man Kenny, you seriously make me want to start getting into plumbing... I love your channel, its amazing how you make quite a lot of videos and they are always entertaining and really interesting... Big fan :)
applied for a john deere scholarship for diesel tech ,the plumbers union and the electricians union (only unions in my area with online apps ),worked as a CT railroad conductor trainee loved it but the promotion time and getting cut from training jobs werent worth it to me plus i lived 2 hrs away and hated the city i lived in unless amtrak hires me as a conductor or any communter rail hires me i dont think im going back but shouldve went to the trades a long time ago
Awesome video Kenny. I'm thinking about becoming a plumber, and your videos only inspire me even more I am only 18 but I got a huge interest in plumbing. Just continue your great work the videos you make are really entertaining and insightful.
Man just go for it I started with zero experience and am loving it if there is a will there is a way! Be the guy tho when you start running your butt off and always in a good mood to be there and no job is to shitty good luck

I believe it’s possible to treat your body well and still have a long career. It’s a matter of wearing PPE, knee pads and keeping fit as well!
Great video man and motivation.
Little suggestion to wipe hot solder when undoing fittings with paper towel unless you using some burn proof cloth;)
Thanks friend! 🙏🤟✌️
Thank you Kenny...if it is possible please do a video on the plumbing market in Canada and its prospects for immigrants etc...
