I was hoping you would mention the difference between Spurgeon’s topical preaching compared to todays topical preaching. I’ve read many who deny the importance of expository preaching and credit Sprurgeon as their champion for topical (actually cherry picking). This was a beneficial conversation though, thank you.
Bro. Spurgeon was used mightily by God and it is recorded that he had between 100-300 church members on their knees praying while he was at the pulpit preaching known as the “Boiler room”
Spurgeon believed No human will is entirely free. It is ether a slave of sin or a slave of Christ, but never free.
