We are almost to the point where people are using more 3-D printed blasters than actual Nerf blasters at wars. May already be the case down at the SENC, but the rest of the country and world is following suit. I don't see this coming to an end anytime soon. Pretty cool what the people in this hobby are capable of.

You’re absolutely right! I’ve actually made a list of the blasters that are currently available that I intend to save up for and only two of them are nerf! The rest are either caliber variations of the caliburn or from brands other than nerf! (I appreciate the Jupiter but don’t have enough money to be comfortable buying one just yet. Soon!)

I can't help but notice no spring thunder. I would think that deserves at least an honorable mention.

Cool to see you practice Gun safety even with these. Your trigger placement is always spot on when not firing. It’s a great way to teach fun safety to young people and older adult kids also.

For me and I suspect a lot of others, some of these are too expensive thanks to ammo type. Getting into half-lenghts and Rival means getting (or making) new magazines and ammo which are more expensive than others.
I was dissapointed when I recently looked at the FDL webpage and saw that the FDL-3 was closed-source. Not anymore though!
Except for maybe the Chimera, the list seems to be adequately numbered in regards to price (both initial purchase and maintenance over time). Also, it´s great that most of them are open source, as shipping costs from America to the rest of the world makes some of them prohibitively expensive.
I would love to get/make all of these blasters at some point (+the JSPB). But, one at the time. Started with the Caliburn, excited for more!

I’m suprised the spring thunder isn’t on here
Why is there no legitimate competitive sport in this stuff. Someone could host championship with these blasters and also probably gain sponsorship with worker and etc. so they can probably market more of their blasters and obviously you can just print your own unique blaster. The only downside I see in this is that main party blasters mainly hasbro or dartzone will have to be excluded because they might sue for usage of blasters in a profitable events without their consent so it forces players to use after market or homemade. I'm just spit balling out something that might happen or that just might remain a dream inside my head lol.
There is competitive sport! In the Bay Area we have a King of the Hill league. We also hosted a tournament at Ragnarocktoberfest last year with 10 teams, 9 sponsors, and nearly $1000 in prizes.
There is a lot of competitive groups in the US. Atomic is based in Atlanta GA.

This is like my 3rd time watching this video and it makes me feel old. I’m almost 17 and been in this hobby only doing small mods (bc of money problems) for 10 years and the Caliburn has earned the 1 spot. If I only had more money I would have been more involved with NIC and HvZ but soon (hopefully) I can.

I live in Canada. But that's not the problem. I'm just not old enough to get my own parts and my parents won't buy a 3D printer so I make Nerf stuff from cardboard. Cardboard meh as long as it doesn't get squashed or wet.

3D printers (at least for printing Nerf Blasters, my school has like 4 now) are also relatively inaccessible to me too, and I'm an upper middle class American teenager, I don't live too far from Drac.
I have C.S Caliburn 647, and I just found out that the barrel fits demolisher rockets. Thank you Drac for making this video. I might go print something on my new printer.

This was a really cool count down! Also Yes yes yes! Please absolutely make a video on how to get into 3D printing Nerf blasters! I’d love to have access to a caliburn or something similar to that chimera that you have there. Absolutely beautiful and unique looking blasters! Also that FDL 3 is brutal!!! I’d love to use a carbine-like version of it! Or maybe one day it could become a bull-pup with a carbine-length handguard and we can REALLY have something that feels like an MDR?! 😏

a bulpup enjoyer ? pog !!! I love bulpup rifles, they are the best design and perfect in compactness !!! (living in a verry small apartment and being pretty small myself, bulpup designs have a huge adventage for me)

I think you may find all the latest pigeon files to be quite a bit nicer than the version that I sent you. We have a pusher that straightens out the darts in the mag, which has improved both accuracy and power, up to as much as 130fps. On top of that we have much better visual changes AND a grip safety rev system to allow even more control over the rev time. There's also a talon version, although I didn't want to take from the Falcon's clever mag release system, so it's only a detente system for now
Ill have to add it to my list of things to try. Ive got a few of the moonlight wheels looking for homes and single stage is dope
I remember the days when uin13 had made a singled longshot integrated with a old school dart tag (who’s old enough to remember that line) hyper fire, forsaken angels doomsayer, I believe it was Captain slugs (don’t kill me if I’m wrong) guru and thinking that those modifications would never be topped, but it’s crazy how far homemades have come. I remember when people were making hamps (basically pvc tubes connected together with no spring, just demolisher style firing) and thinking that homemades were just a fad. Crazy how far things have changed.

I admit that I love old school nerf without 3d printed blasters but that power of the 3d printed blasters are amazing.
The homemade blasters are awesome. Explorer has pretty awesome blasters
Poeple in my school thinks nerf is a joke and a kids thing but they dont realize that we have a big community with 3d printed stuff and a lot of supplies for our hobby.

Guys I'm from airsoft and I need help. I'm deffinetally not confortable on playing airsoft on my house and neither with my little brothers. but eletric nerfs are insanely loud and spring nerfs has a bad RoF... Do anyone know any automatic nerf that only makes noise when you shoot, like an AEG??

To say it honestly, I build bullpups with lego on my insta. But I actually want a good bullpup nerf rifle. Not just the rayven or the motoblitz. The fg 42 is my favorite rifle is my all time favorite though. I modified my Raider then I messed with my Nerf Mediator and I wasn't disappointed. I need to add metal barrels and a changd of springs. Happy hunting, and stay sharp!

My kids and I are just getting into Nerf modding, and I came across this video. Thanks for making it! I noticed your version of the Caliburn is a little different in a few places than the model posted on the Thingiverse link. Are the print files for the version you made also freely available?
I believe it may be because Slug has updated the blaster, possibly because the older models have issues, I’d recommend just getting the one slug has public

Maybe there can be two classes in nerf wars, spec (hasbro Nerf guns only), and open (any Nerf gun open to the public or made yourself).
You can make the full auto on the Jupiter easier is to make it so when you pull the trigger it does the ball release
