Hey all! This is Kyle, the composer & conductor for this piece. I hope you enjoyed the music, and if you didn't, that's okay too. I was still a student when I put this together, and now a year and a half later, I still have a whole lot more to learn about orchestration. Writing this piece was so much fun though, I loved finding different textures and rhythms for all of the melodic samples. I'm currently working on a different version of this piece, set for a large jazz ensemble.
Great work Kyle! Theres Wutang meets Jazz, Wutang meets Soul, only fitting someone tries to link up with classical! Needs work like you said but keep those creative juices flowing. And dont listen to these rooty poot haters, keep at it. If RZA and others limited their scope of creativity we wouldnt have a Wutang Clan so keep banging it out!
I like the idea, how the music was written and how it blended together, but it ended up sounding like a high school band. Like the overall pitch was off. Maybe it needs a full orchestra?

Just destroyed the element of the song. I understand it’s a musical piece..and I respect that. But the culture and sound of a WU song....Especially WU ain’t nothing fuck with, Was Made to serve as a grimy raw production. This right here is cool....But it’s unnecessary. In fact if this wasn’t titled as a WU Orchestra, And something else I would approve. Stop disrespecting the elements of Hip Hop. The culture for what we stand for. Thank you...
