I know I didn't do ALL of the history of Hip-Hop, or everybody's complete lists, I did miss many greats - but these I wrote down by heart, no research, just beats that changed the game for me. JIMEK Please travel with this, its so powerful. The pain and struggle that goes into HipHop/RnB etc needs an orchestra to deliver it. I need an entire concert one day. AMAZING! WOW! Brings tears to my eyes.

At 4:26, I love the entire crowd recognizes the iconic opening of Dr. Dre’s famous “Still Dre!” 👏👏🤩🤩 I love this entire orchestra paying tribute to classic Hip-Hop even the ones from back in the day! 💯
The point of grateness of this piece is not in the choice of the songs. It is hidden in the maestry of rewriting it for the orchestra. It is very pleasent for an ordinary listener. It is a grate joy to discover the songs you know. But personally I also made some notes and looked for the songs I didn't know till now. So that's what it is about. Enjoy the classical music and spread your horizons!!! THUMBS UP!!!

Jimek's orchestra truly gives it's viewers a life changing experience. Jimek has unraveled some of the greatest musical anomalies and exposed their masterpiece. Jimek is one of the greatest modern age orchestral arrangers.
Amazing. I felt the soul, the beat the MANA as we call it in New Zealand. A pure talent, my childhood presented all fancy like on a silver platter of musical goodness.
This has got to be the tenth time I've listened to this! Totally had me searching for blends of music! If only you could blend people together like this music!!
Liebe heutige Generation, ja, das ist Musik die durch die Seele geht! Das muss erstmal jemand können! Ich bin begeistert und hoffe das es irgendwann Musiker gibt die genau so ihre Konzerte spielen! Mega!
kchkaceha Not at all. Hip-hop's musical background is very simple both to hear and rewrite, and to perform (simple structure, short, no dynamics, simple articulation). Boringly simple for musician with classical training. And thi orcherstra is one of the best in the world- If some famous orchestra can't play something, these people can, no problem. Not to mention a tiny fact that Jimek even didn't have to orchestrate Simon Says, because originally it's Akira Ifukube "Godzilla appears", thoug this one is also that simple, it's quicker to rewrite this or play from hearing, than to order a score from Japan.
I don't listen to hip-hop or rap all that much anymore, but I'm familiar with some of the hit singles he composed and made arrangements for. I must say that I am impressed. I'm always impressed when composers are willing to not just go "old school," composing music from previous musical eras (like Renaissance, Classical, and Romantic), but also do orchestral renditions of modern music. Gives a sense "old school" meeting and meshing with "new school." Love it!
Filmik poleciła mi moja matula po której nie spodziewałabym się zainteresowania rapem i przyznaję że początkowo podchodziłem sceptycznie do oglądania... ale już po niecałej minucie stwierdziłem że sztos :) Props panie Radzimirze.

Hey Jimek first of all thank you for your great work and the amazing experience we all have listening to this masterpiece! You know we all loved this video,but.... COME ON we're waiting for PART 2!
Forget that, but don't forget about Dre. Kendrick might be called the heir to hip hop, but he's kind of like the shit heir who no body remembers because he didn't do anything worth remembering.

Jesus I wish I would have heard this live. This is amazing literally brining tears to my eyes. Cause those guys came from nothing and made history. What a salute to Hip Hop....Black kids need school field trips to something like this.
Its amazing that general message of hip hop is very international: poor kids who have nothing are dreaming about being famous, succesfull and rich. People all around the world dream of this, its universal everywhere. Hip hop was found by african americans, but became world's heritage ❤️
as a european i praise the hip hop for its simplicity in its foundation, i mean our music culture is complete opposition, i feel like it's all about your ability to play well on instrument, making you more of a craftsman than an artist, when i believe that creativity should be the thing to focus on. Music became exclusive and prestigious. Then with the technology came the revolution, poor and simple lads from african minority not giving a single fuck about proper musical education just played with the music, all they needed was a basic rythm to put some rhymes on, like its the beauty of the art, creativity. And hip hop because of its simple foundation let's you be creative as no other genre.
@@grxkolego But hip hop was about THE CAUSE and speaking to the Black Community saying I HEAR YOU AND I AM GOING THROUGH IT TOO. The beauty of Hip Hop is because of it's lyrics mostly focus on fighting various forms of oppression and injustices and being strong even within lack, various parts of Europe has picked it up and the new Artist are really really good. Iran and India are also evolving. Now as a person who is consider "hood" because of where I come from, I was introduced to classical music at a very young age...cultural and common in New Orleans. Then I grew up Baptist and Catholic. So Gaelic sounds sung in high ranges are just as important to me as the deep tones learned through Gospel Choirs. I love love love the orchestra. I just never really felt welcomed into the environment when I was younger. Right now Chopin is my favorite. He's have whimsical overlapping notes that is interesting to hear. His music is so layered and some of the music, even though there was no exposure, is very southern and African. It's very interesting.
@@grxkolego And what I find is people who learn how to play usually learn later on in life how to let the soul play and lead. I think it takes some time to marry their instrument. At the same time I know many who only play by ear and it sounds different. The music hits different. Even Conductors matters. Some Conductors, I cannot listen too. They make the classical music too choppy and hit hurts my ears. But the right conductor who truly knows how to lead can marry the instruments in a way it's like water. Now I had a chance to intern at Oxford in College, but I took another opportunity to intern in Congress. If I would have gone, music was the first thing to venture into. I wanted to know what how European interpretation of music without the American esthetics.
@@everythingdana9322 it's true, but i believe there had to be a little more to catch the attention of the whole world than talking about struggle specific to your people.
