A system I can recommend is Mythras, it's character mechanics are a lot closer to elder scrolls and some people even made a elder scrolls fan supplement.
Two of them, even. One is specifically Morrowind-based and the other reeeally pushes the idea of making Mythras "feel" like TES. Personally I've been working on my own additions where I lean way more heavily on the Cultures, Cults, Brotherhoods and Careers in Mythras to make a really "naturalistic" (and big, culturally and landmass-wise) depiction of Tamriel.
The one downside is that people on Nirn can get pretty superhuman even without magic, which Mythras isn't very good at handling without including Destined in some way.
Would you ever make a homebrew system for a TES game like you did for Kenshi? Reason I ask is because using something like dnd 5e can work but doesn’t quite fit and do this setting justice imo. Thanks for the vid!

Thanks for the rec, I’ll have to check that out!

Also, important to note that Morrowind's mechanics were largely inspired by a RuneQuest campaign in the setting (and Mythras is just RuneQuest 6e)

I’m finishing up a 5e conversion for TES character creation that will change a few key mechanics, though nothing larger scale for now
