was amaizing meet in London with this incredible band, I had never heard anything like this :) ubuntu
It was such a pleasure and privilege to attend this amazing concert. Abel Selaocoe is an amazing musician and the musicians supporting him are sublime.
Incredible music but also great wisdom from "Mother Africa", BRAVO !
Brilliant performance, stunning music. A fusion of cultures created with incredible skill. Thank you.
I only discovered Abel the other day via the decades long running New Sounds (NY) I haven’t been this excited to find such an inventive spirit in a while; not unlike the first time I heard the Kronos QT, Meredith Monk, Julius Eastman, Iva Bittova, and on and on :)
one of the most exciting performances I have found on here in a while
to hear a live audience love music that much again brings tears to my eyes
Abel's last appearance with the collective got me through the pandemic. much love to you all as a fellow violinist
Thanks Nicole!
The transition into the Vivaldi at about 08'30 is sheer magic. But in fact all of it is - magic I mean.
Saw this show in Nottingham. Awesome!
Just What I Was Looking For... Cheers From México City, Maestr@s!
