Well... if the pro drivers are offering all the features and performnace from the regular ones but with added stability... what´s the point of the regular drivers anymore ?
for me, adrenalin keeps crashing for no reason, maybe half the time i want to open the app, it straight up doesn't work and i have to kill the background process and re-launch it (it might be linked to steamVR but it's been a while that i have this bug)
Hahahaha No it's not! This is actually a problem with game servers where the game stops or even slows down for all players sometimes. You can notice that from the red mark that appears in the down right of the screen. In the end, it seemes that they use Intel cpus for them servers. 😅
@@AncientGameplaysthis is another random question but on amd adrenaline, i know its good to reset the shader cache after every update but should i do it more frequently like every month or 2 months?
I swappwd to pro drivers because my games crashes way to much with adrenaline and always changed settings on its own and overlay often didnt work. Less crashes now and no settings changes or overlay problems
@AncientGameplays i overcloxked my 7900gre through adrenaline and after every game crash the tuning settings of clock speed and meomory speed would change. I wonder if the Stalker 2 data would reflect all RDNA3 cards? Man that's my only hang up switching drivers with my 7900xt/7800x3d. Stalker 2 is a favorite rn i wouldn't want to hurt performance. Good video though.
Fabio I've experienced many issues even on pro driver shipped on ThinkPad w/ 780m where OBS doesn't record audio and h265/av1 fails to encode data after a minute. I was recording 15 mins video and during edit i was astonished with av1 file size only to find it recorded only a minute. Had to switch to some 24q2 driver to fix the issue but it was sucking too much power on battery and for 2 months I was figuring out how to install the damn 24q4 driver which always failed with manifest error and got fed up and guess what did work, the stock consumer driver and automatically the UI was showing pro driver but with red adrenalin/crimson UI. AMD no longer considers 780M ISV certified driver as *true enterprise driver*. Also NPU drivers are included with stock Radeon driver rather than enterprise driver. Amd driver is still a mess on their mobility line-up. I'm amazed steamOS dev team is doing good work and went with debian rather than windows. Windows 11 is still a mess where each update is waiting to do a sneak attack to force users to buy new hardware every month
@AncientGameplays obs was latest version available. The driver update fixed it albeit very frustrating since the recording crapped out whenever it switched to battery. I have stopped looking for driver updates in general unless it's a security fix or feature update.
Would you know why amd drivers would just disappear? I built a pc for my friend he said the pc was running sweet in the morning he went outside for a bit, when he come back in the screen was black and wasnt responding. Once he got the pc rebooted fps was really low like singular digits. I had a look and his gpu drivers was gone
Since this is the latest video and you featured my card here I just wanted to say your previous how to fix and GPU series fixed my intermittent Black screen issues and I am now playing everyday without having a black screen you are my AMD jesus. I just want to ask, I did every fix but one thing I noticed is that even after my optimizations that made my GPU stable, I can't ever make "Smart Access Memory" to work, it always crashes my PC even after every fix I did. (I don't want to enable it again and risk my GPU drivers getting corrupted after a blackscreen since it is very stable now). Is there any note that enabling SMA is a known issue and when they would fix it? It is such a huge boost to FPS on games it sucks having to disable it

I've done a lot of stuff in order to try to fix it, but without success. I have a new system and everything was working fine before, so I believe it's a GPU fault, either hardware or software. Do you think the AMD 9070xt has the performance around the 5080 ithink it doesnt i hope so, i will get the card but if it foesnt have that perf no thnx.
It is around the 7900xtx and 5080 in some cases, not all
bro posted romanian video from my football team Craiova
Cum se numeste videoul?
Hi fabio bro if possible could you make a updated video regarding which driver is best for each gpu in 2025 similar to one u did before ?
Can you start including Ow2? Just a suggestion, its a wierd game performance wise for me and its also fairly popular still. (No need to answer if it happens it happens) Your still my amd guru.
I already forgot that AMD can be blue 🤣😂 Thanks Fabio for reminding me 👍
Would be cool to see a 7900xtx and mid and low settings with super high frame rates and see how those could differ, here was all high settings
that was done in the previous video
Gotta go see that then!@@AncientGameplays
Well... if the pro drivers are offering all the features and performnace from the regular ones but with added stability... what´s the point of the regular drivers anymore ?
New features come to them first and game optimizations as well
for me, adrenalin keeps crashing for no reason, maybe half the time i want to open the app, it straight up doesn't work and i have to kill the background process and re-launch it (it might be linked to steamVR but it's been a while that i have this bug)
What was that stutter at 12:05? Is that bc the game is poorly optimized?
that was just a crash with an older version. That happened like once
Hahahaha No it's not! This is actually a problem with game servers where the game stops or even slows down for all players sometimes. You can notice that from the red mark that appears in the down right of the screen. In the end, it seemes that they use Intel cpus for them servers. 😅
I enjoy you gvgmall ads hahhaa
thanks haha
What’s the thumbnail from?
Just an AI generated wallpaper
Thank you.
Do I have to Uninstall Amd Adrenaline before i download the pro drivers?
of course, like you should always do
@@AncientGameplaysthis is another random question but on amd adrenaline, i know its good to reset the shader cache after every update but should i do it more frequently like every month or 2 months?
Yes, uninstall Amd Adrenaline drivers with DDU Software.
I swappwd to pro drivers because my games crashes way to much with adrenaline and always changed settings on its own and overlay often didnt work. Less crashes now and no settings changes or overlay problems
your issues are VERY strange and honestly hard to believe. You were having issues with windows overwritting your drivers most likely
@AncientGameplays i overcloxked my 7900gre through adrenaline and after every game crash the tuning settings of clock speed and meomory speed would change. Game crashes constantly and often the amd performance overlay would not appear when gaming more often than not and windows did override my drivers because adrenaline got uninstalled after 1 day every time. I had to change the windows settings but the other problems still occured now on pro drivers and no tuning changes or overlay issues
@@AncientGameplays I've a doubt, every time I change my fan curve settings, my PC crashes, like, black screen, background sounds still going on and after a few seconds it freezes and I need to hard reset, any idea what it could be?
I have a 6600 xfx, R5 5600, 32gb ram, sam enabled
@nezel600
1.Open C:\Users\User Name\Appdata\Local\AMD\if there is any file.xml at bottom end delete it,try again. Appdata file is hidden by default(file explorer option-show hidde files).
2.DDU driver reinstall, clear all AMD old files.
3.optional reinstall MSI afterburner if you use it and delete all old files.
Hope this helps.
I wonder if the Stalker 2 data would reflect all RDNA3 cards? Man that's my only hang up switching drivers with my 7900xt/7800x3d. Stalker 2 is a favorite rn i wouldn't want to hurt performance. Good video though.
I believe so, at least for anything above the 7700XT
At first i thought i clicked a meme video lol 🤣🤣
That's an obs issue. Not an amd one I suppose. I will ask (again) amd to include recording features on laptops as well
@AncientGameplays obs was latest version available.
Yes, windows is messing with you. Use ddu to clean install drivers and block the updates
0:29 Nice joke man, actually wasn't ready for this one! 😂
We needed thus more than anyone realized. Watch AMD change this now the video is out lol
Great video as always, but could you include RX 6750XT in your benchmarks next time? That would be great ♥️
I need to change cards. Can't test the same always
It is such a huge boost to FPS on games it sucks having to disable it
Anyone having trouble with REBIRTH ISLAND on warzone with lighting ? , I’m getting blinded 90% of the time when I scope in with weapons, just gets brighter n brighter … anyone have a fix ?
We are facing similar problems with bright lights with colours in warzone battle royal! Urzikistan Me and my brother with 7900xt latest driver didn't fix this also a lot of crashes! Mine 7900xt i7 8700k my brother 7900xt 14700k
@ no crashes maybe update chipset , but lighting big issue for me 🥴
@@UKGUN1T chipset drivers already updated from my brothers pc crashes continue! At least one every five matches in warzone! But anyway the overall experience is good with everything at maximum! Wish to you happy gaming without problems!
I wouldn't be surprised if this is a CoD problem and not a driver problem.
@ yeah true could be , hope a fix comes soon 🤞
I definitely need to try the pro driver.. I got a 7900xt TUF recently, and where before, on my 7900gre everything was fine, with the 7900xt I keep getting driver crashes at idle.. I've done a lot of stuff in order to try to fix it, but without success. I have a new system and everything was working fine before, so I believe it's a GPU fault, either hardware or software.
I will try the pro driver and hope for the best really. If not I think I might send the GPU back unfortunately..
I believe that you either have a faulty GPU, or you should really clean install those drivers to begin with
@AncientGameplays I used ddu everytime and also and cleanup tool everytime I installed the drivers.
Vista had 2 drivers versions only - 32 & 64 bit...
I'm reading what Windows 10 users writing and understand that they didn't hear about 64 bit software (athlon 64 from 2006).
We need ollama deepseek-r1 benchmarks now 😅
Local ai is much more useful doing business work or private coding.
Really hope we get high end amd GPU again, because we need 32gb and higher vram consumer cards
You'll have a nice surprise soon then
Anyone here who can actually vouch on how much stable the Pro drivers are?
some here in the comment section
I have a 7900xtx which 24-Q driver mode should I use there is raden 7 and radeon W7000
Hi does 24.Q4 support AFMF2?
It is all in the video
not the romanian lion clip :D
Hey im new to the channel and just subscribed! and i want to ask you could you make a video with an Ryzen 7 5700x3D with an RX 7900XT or at least answer my question if these two could pair well? I want to Upgrade to them on my Birthday! Hope i get an answer! Or a Video that would be very nice!
It is a decent combo yes. Buying new, you should have gotten AM5 + 7600X + DDR5 though
I can assure you that is a perfectly pair at least for 1440p and 4k , i have that pair for 4 months ago and i nothing to complain ! (i even replaced my 3 years old Ryzen 5900X with that pair because i get to many stuttering gaming competitive games from those 2xCCD in processor).
@@AncientGameplaysThank you so much!
@@riannair7101Okay my Budget is Limited so thats good to hear! Thank you!
Спасибо за русский мем :D He asked: "This is a common (frequent) problem, right?"
Thank you for saving me from wasting time testing the driver. I did think about the PRO driver, but I haven't had any problems with 24.12.1 so far.
I manually installed optional 25.1.1 and I don't have Adrenaline Software. Minimal install is same.

You didn't install well clean install with ddu
@ Yup, i did not...

Wait, then how did you 🤔

Please help me i have 7800xt 2dp e 2hdmi when i use 4 monitor windows crash at startup but if i plug the 4th monitor after boot i can run windows for day s...the only driver that no crash and reboot it is 24.20.11.01 beta the other driver not
Even if i can run 3 monitor plus one in the integrated gpu with any type of driver.....run like a charm...
The problem it is only on boot or reboot...
If i use 3 monitor no issue
If i use 3 monitor plus 1 on integrated gpu no issue
If i use 4 monitor on the 7800xt crash on boot or crash on reboot system
24.5.1 25.7.1 24.8.1 24.9.1 and so on...same issue
I need to try with pro to fix
Try Delta Force with the latest AMD Adrenaline and Pro if it finally doesn't destroy the fps
how to install the pro drivers?
It is all in the video :D
puedo hacerle el mismo undervolt que tengo en adrenaline con la version Pro para seguir manteniendo mi GPU con buena temperatura?
si
People always ask for the Pro Drivers good to have info.
Will the 24q4 versionn work on polaris?
Try it
Hey, sorry I got a question if anyone can answer. Will a R5 5500 work with ddr4 (only 2400mhz ) ??
How rdna card perform in productivity work on pro drivers? I mean we see around youtube how "grown up" cards performing in games yet maybe would be interesting to see how cad/blender/what not/specviewperf benchmarks are going on little ones. For people who would do productivity on amateur semiprofessional level without paying full pro card.
just watch the video... things are there
@@AncientGameplaysSorry. Saw and forgot maybe because I was in fact wondering what is the difference between pro card and fitting (same gpu chip) gaming one. I have to check.
does pro drivers let you use spotify while gaming unlike adrenaline?
What is the issue exactly?
I use Spotify while gaming all the time with adrenaline software running in background too even cause I use the overlay sometimes, no issues.
@@AncientGameplaysFor me spotify frequently blocks current game feature from working preventing the use of AFMF2 and other things. sometimes it works but most of the time it just won’t allow me to do anything if spotify is open. On amd community site there’s a few others or threads about this issue. i guess it’s not that common.
i like your calm voice , along with plenty of info :)
So... what are the real drawbacks of using pro drivers? (not being able to play starfield is more of an advantage to me tbh)
newer games will take longer to get performance upgrades (as stated) and the same happens for new features
@@AncientGameplays but when they arrive you know they're more stable I think it is a fair trade for many people
very noice!
Will my rx 6600 get fsr 4 ?
&
Why I am not get 25.1.1 yet
Because they are optional driver and there is no difference.
25.1.1 is optional and you can download it. FSR4 won't be coming for you. Not the best version at least
The RX 6000 series most likely will not get FSR 4 as they lack any type of AI engine as Fabio mentioned. Even the RX 7000 series is questionable as its AI engine isn't as capable as the 9000 series. The 25.1 driver is optional and will not show up in Adrenalin, you have to search for the download manually.
