I learned so many great painting techniques on this one, but more so, I appreciate your pep talks on how we see ourselves as artists and the importance of not putting undue pressure on ourselves. I started painting several months ago, and sometimes, I have to remind myself that I am a beginner and that it's ok to not know everything or be able to do everything right now. I want to remember to focus on the current painting as you said. Thanks again for all y'all do!
I love this painting. Love all the orange. I really loved the red in the trees on the left, but it seems to have disappeared by the end of the painting. Great job as always
Cinnamon, still hanging with you...to give you a like and watching your brush strokes. I now have the Raphael hog bristles and I was thrilled that you used them today so I could learn how to use them correctly. Every sip of coffee we take together is fun, fun, fun.
Thanks for the tutorial! I really enjoyed doing this one. I have been watching silently for a while, but today was my first attempt at doing a painting with you. I have been painting for a while and have followed a lot of other artists. Your looks so much more challenging which I need …great fun! Learning lots!
Just finished this and I learned a lot! It made an impression when you said, “this is what acrylic is made for.” For the first time I really got what the dry brush stumbling really does when you keep going with it. I’ve been painting too thin. This is the effect that I’ve been looking for. Can’t thank you enough.
I’m new to painting. How are you keeping your acrylics from drying out. The second question is, is it normal to leave one painting when frustrated and start another that might be simpler or spark interest as a break from the one your doing? Thank you also, I am enjoying your tutorials. It can be a bit expensive to get going on a fixed income, but it’s something I have a strong passion for. Thank you!
Omg Cinnamon! I've been watching your videos since 2017 and I had no idea that Sherpa at 300 viewers was a reference to We are Sparta! Ha ha ha! I love you guys. Ps: I was not here for the live but in the replay I can't hear lawn mowers at all. Sounds great.
Can I please meet you. I had a dream meeting my favorite artist. And I waited forever seen gardens etc and then my dream went hazy I was being woken up
Use a stay wet palette and mist your paints with a micromister. Also you can get a desk top humidifier if you live in a dry area or struggle with that issue 💝

Great work! Was visit g your interesting art tutorial video. Thnx for your time.

Do you ever spray your canvas with water before you ever painting mine always seems to be dry so the paint doesn’t go on easy .thank you

May I ask if you also usually paint the reference photos ?
Yes, a lot of my reference photos are the painting I do as I don't use images on those. i create images on my computer/laptop/Ipad a lot. 🌼
You look so beautiful
Thank you!
Can I please meet you. I had a dream meeting my favorite artist. And I waited forever seen gardens etc and then my dream went hazy I was being woken up
If you attend a event you can!
Hello How do you deal with paint drying too fast on your pallet?
Use a stay wet palette and mist your paints with a micromister. Also you can get a desk top humidifier if you live in a dry area or struggle with that issue 💝
how long does it take for a canvas to dry?
To be fully dry 7-10 days. I would need more information
