    Well, I am so glad I found your video because I just received some patio furniture and there were no instructions in the Box. So thank you very much sir.

    Excellent! I purchased one of these when I bought my first house in 2016. Immediately afterwards I got very ill and was ill for the next few years. Now I've moved twice after selling that house and buying another and can't find the assembly instructions. Luckily I placed the screws in a drawer and actually remembered where I put them. Will be putting this together for this summer. Finally feeling better and ready to enjoy my deck. THANK YOU!!!

    Tha k you very much. This looks exactly like the set I ordered. I just received it this morning, but haven't unboxed it yet.
    You gave some helpful pointers. I hope I am able to assemble this set without too much aggravation. What is the lo g red piece called that helps you get in tight spots and where did you pirchase it? Thanks for sharing your knowledge with us!

    Hey mate, how do you rate these? Worth the money?

    • @ecologicaltime
      @ecologicaltime  5 років тому

      these were cheap, in my country it was R3000 which is about $200 and the chairs are fine. The table is rubbish though. There are more fancy ones. i would rate it based on the sturdiness of the construction, the quality of the foam, and the quality of the construction. This unit has low density cheap foam so not great. The construction however is solid enough for a person with a mass of 100kg. So value is fair there fore i give it a fair rating as i am still using them and they fine.

    How has the furniture hold up? I'm looking to purchase soon.

    • @ecologicaltime
      @ecologicaltime  4 роки тому

      yes its still good but i don't use it very often. Looks the same as when i purchased it. The cushions are low density foam so don't have high expectations from them - from day one they very soft with limited support.

    We bought a rattan furniture set in the UK, very similar to the one you have. The one we have is an absolute pain in the a$$ to put together, because the holes are either mismatched, or the threaded holes have been tapped incorrectly, or the plastic interweaved wicker (or whatever it's called) covers the holes. One of the legs even had that interweaved plastic wicker start to unthread. Absolutely terrible product!

      Hi, I'm trying to build this just now, been at it for a full week, the holes don't match up, you got any advice? I'd really appreciate it, thank you

    • @alpachino468

      @@marilynnesearle614 We built ours using two people - one person holding the frame into place into place by using a bit of force, so that the holes match up - and the other to screw the bolts in. It took 4 days to fully assemble, which is utterly ridiculous, because all it was was a small table and 3 chairs.
      Our instruction manual said not to use force otherwise you risk bending the frame, but we had very little choice because, as you've experienced, the holes don't line up otherwise.
      Also - and I don't know if you've experienced this - but some of the plastic wicker covers the holes so you can't thread the bolts through. In this case, we had to use a cordless drill to make a hole through the plastic.
      Wowcher (the seller in the UK) and the manufacturer have been absolutely useless at addressing the issue and our complaint.
      Hope this helps and good luck.

      @@alpachino468 hi thank you for replying, I'm back at it after watching a few video's, it's utterly disgraceful just how bad this is to put together lol, i build loads of stuf, i consider myself quite handy around the house, but this is stressful, i got mine from wowcher too, I'm giving it one last go then i think I'll need to call my dad for help, thanks again for your help, trying hard not to give up ha! :)
