This tour was called "The Mongoose Tour" The mongoose is an animal capable of confronting the cobra and killing it without her venom affecting her. For Shakira, the cobra represents hatred, and the mongoose is her way of ending that hatred.
I was there, it was my very first concert at 9 years old. This one was recorded in Rotterdam, in the Netherlands, I went to the one in Lisbon, Portugal which was 5 days after this one. I'll never forget both her entrance (with the giant snake) and the ending with her jumping off the stage, from the crowds perspective it was even more amazing because it looked like some sort of magic trick, like the second she disappeared multiple fireworks were set off. Just incredible.
I went too!, all by myself, in Monterrey Mexico (Feb 12, 2003) when I was 13. It was AMAZING!!!, the best concert I’ve ever been to. And I’ve seen Katy Perry live, Bruno Mars, and others, like Miley Cyrus, etc., and NO ONE can match her stage presence !!! 😍

Did you guys know that Shakira suffers when she does those hip moves? She feels pain and after every single tour she takes medicine, pain injections and professional massages because of the pain but she looks so happy and never stop dancing and smiling when performing even if she's dying inside. Shakira is probable the less problematic ARTIST in the whole music industry, humble and so naturally beautiful. I swear to god that there's none like her and she is THE BIGGEST ICON for us, the latinos.

In Shakira's channel it appears like two separate videos, but it's interesting how one performance follows the other. Octavo Día (Eighth day) has a strong political message in the middle of the Iraq War. (The tour started in november 2002 in USA. Thee recorded one was in Rotterdam, April 22 , 2003.)
