Shakira gives me life. Her performance are out of this world. She has such great presence that she don’t need back up dancers.

she only did the jump into the hatch ending on 14 shows as she hurt her back doing it after 13 shows, and after the 15th she was forced by managment to not do it... and luckily the recording of the show was on the 12th show...

Another great reaction! Your energy is infectious (and awesome moves lol)! Just some background info about this one:
-on this tour, she actually did lip sync the chorus (impressive your ears picked up on that). On other tours, she’s done pretty much the whole song live. She only rarely relies on playback, understandable considering all the dancing!
-this tour was called “Tour of the Mongoose”, because the mongoose is the only animal that can survive a cobra’s venom and kill it. Thus the analogy/quote at the end.
I know there are a lot more songs to explore, but I’d still love to see you react to her version of Ojos Así from her 2010-11 Sale el Sol tour, from either China, Kiev, or Morocco. You seem to especially love her bellydancing, and that version has her best bellydance solo yet.

I'm honestly not even disappointed to learn she lip-synced for a small portion of the song. A concert of this scale is like running a marathon, so she is allowed to take a little breather to keep the party going. I plan to look at some of her other concerts soon, and the Sale el Sol tour is on the list. And thanks, you too!

The reason Shakira has been slept on in the US is because she doesn't live a celebrity life, she alwaysbin a hideout, doesn't go to red carpets TV shows, and takes so long between albums.

SHAKIRA LIVE AND OFF THE RECORDS CONCERTS WERE ALL TOTALLY LIVE!!!! no back dancers no autotunes. After performing songs live she wore oxygen mask to not run out of oxygen during that concert.
