Always liked the swc. Pure lead for defense , wheel weight dropped in water for hunting.

Checked the test of the Buffalo Bore 225 gr LHP and it penetrated 15 to 15.5 inches in bare gel and through the tee shirt with little expansion and a complete pass-through with the 4 layers of denim.

Nice video sir. Kinda bummed that Underwood doesn't offer a +P version of this round as my Redhawk doesn't mind a little extra juice. I still am very interested in getting some of those Barnes all copper rounds you tested last time.
Have you ever thought of trying a Paul Harrell style meat target?

They do offer a +P version of that 250 grain XTP load.

I always thought that was kind of his thing and didn't want to step on his toes He recently did a video on .45 Colt loads, some of which I've tested, and his results with the meat target were very similar to my results.

I believe Buffalo boar makes a 225 grain
D.E.W.C. now this is not going to expand, but it might be interesting to see the temporary and permanent wound cavity.

Four layers of denim is in excess of the FBI's protocol of two layers over said gel block.
I am not surprised that those shots plugged up so badly.
Onw foes have to take into account both the temporary and permenent wound channels.

If that is regular ballistic gel . Your rounds don't react the same as fbi gel . There is a difference. There is a lot more work in using fbi gel.

my comment will be a little long. the information I'm about to give is for educational purposes only. as a hunter, reloader of many, many calibers and specialize in ultra reduced center fire ammunition my information and data is my testing purposes only. I'm not responsible if anyone uses it. the recent rossi brawler 45colt/410single shot pistol I bought I'm testing 45acp and 45colt . all data was cronygraphed. using cfe pistol powder, new 45colt brass, hunter supply 452 dia.250 gr lrn-hp my findings was 9.8gr 870fps 420 ft/ lb . 10.0 gr at 964 fps 516 ft/ lb .10.2 gr 1034 fps 591 ft/lb .10.6 gr 1093 fps 664 ft/ lb .11.0 gr 1132 fps 771.ft/ lb. I intend to keep it at 10.0 gr 964 fps 516 ft/lb as with a gc 250gr or gc 255gr swc or fp should take care of anything in the lower 48 states . now I know how far I dare to go I'm going back for
