My cousin once saw Luciano Pavarotti in concert and her only comment was "when he sings he just wants you to be happy" this is exactly the way I feel about Pepe's guitar playing. He wants to spread joy and love through his playing. He wants you to be happy!

I've managed to play this piece all the way through and have found it literally exhausting to play. Pepe Romero's rendition here is literally inspirational: it makes me want to pick my guitar up and practice.

I saw Mr Romero in solo recitals and recitals with his siblings (and father) many times at the Ambassador auditorium in Pasadena back in the 80's and 90's. His playing really touched me and made me want to be a better player. At other times, it made me feel like Salieri. That's what genius does- it brings out everything ! I look forward to watching you as often as possible on UA-cam.

Pepe is one of my heroes, guitar heroes. Look at his posture, no stress, quite unique position of the guitar. No stressful wry position there. Great to see. I have never understood why classical guitarists sit like they had a stiff pole through their body, a wry pole at that, when Paco and the lads and lasses - and indeed Jimi and the rest there - were/are all so relaxed.

Very nicely done. I noted in the key of D. I am familiar with Segovia's version in E major. I like this one better. I think it is Pepe's arrangement. I prefer his Bach interpretations and they are more suited for the guitar. Is the score available?
