I had a KDX 200 back in 2000-2001. I think it was a 1991 or 1992 model year. It was my first enduro bike and I learned so fast. Easy to handle, fairly light weight and enough power and torque to get around the technical forest tracks we used to ride. Eventually had to sell it because of going to college, but I will always remember those days with a smile on my face. Maybe I will get back to enduro again some day. Just wondering what a soon to be 50 year old guy would ride today? 🙂

Keep up the great videos
Bro how tf does a KDX 200 from 92' look newer than my KMX 125 out of 99' weird what kawasaki did back then but great video.
Sold mine but it could definitely keep up with anything on the trail
We enjoy the vids. Keep up the good work.
Let's see your girlfriend do a review on the Yamaha scooter
What girlfriend😂
@@hermanbrits611 he has a girlfriend 😂
Naa men... Thats his sister, coz she seems as dittsy as him.
You should try to find an old 2 stroke Yamaha it250. I use to have a 81 best bike I ever had and the only bike I ever regret selling.
You should keep that bike for trail riding
This bike is very good and a good looker in my opinion wish I could magic it to South Wales 🏴
Killer woods bike that you can hit jumps with !
Zion Kurth hahah yea right hitting jumps with a 250 lb bike
@@masoncoopermx3127 loooooool
Me: Finds a review of KDX200
Me: Realizes is the 2vingage channel 😭😭😭
That KDX looks like it has been well taken care of and lightly ridden. With only 900ish miles the top end should still be in good condition. I would do a compression check, (125-150 psi would be a good reading for this bike). and keep it.
You didn’t let it idle for 5 mins to warm up I hope.
you should actually ride the bikes next time take em somewhere like trails or track there no point in ridding these far more capable machines around the yard. no offense man i live your stuff but the content would be sick
man..all these rich kids with many bikes..... what impress me is the size of the grass...they must spend 1 week of the month trying to trim.the yard
“Never taken a real bike for a ride” Never fixed a real bike either mate
What’s the difference between this bike and a KMX? I own a KMX
Thank you mine is the black and red version👍
I have a 1988 Honda four wheeler TRX 200 SX need help how hard is it to put in clutch
I had the rare red Kawasaki kdx200 only made for 6 months to see if they would sell more bikes with red plastics because Honda was killing them that year lol miss that bike
No red in the US but there was a white option.
That was some deep stuff.
Looks like a great bike what does the seat height measure? I'm only 5'9" and can't through my 66 year old leg over some of the newer dual sport bikes.
I have the same exact bike and I’m 5 foot 9 and I can get on easy. Granted I am young. It is pretty tall though, but it can be lowered all the way to where I can get both feet flat on the ground when I’m on it.
The rattle you hear isnt piston slap, bad bearings or anything else worrisome. Typical KIPS rattle...very charecteristic of this model. Ive got a 94. when you DONT hear this, then you have troubles.
How fast is the kdx 200? How much is it worth because I have been offered one. What year is it please
Rad Ride I’m wondering the same..
@Leon Dupe nice, I've got a 93
Please learn how to rev out the gears properly you'll be able to ride quicker and smoother
kx two-smoke I despise people like you who defend shitty “riders” this guy sucks at riding and blows up everything he touches. Check out some of my videos, you’ll see how I ride and maybe then you’ll be able to tell the difference between a good rider and a shitty one. FFS the guy doesn’t even take the bike into 6th gear because he doesn’t know it’s a 6 speed and because he’s shifting too soon to reach it 😂🤦🏼♂️ You need to take a biiiiiiiiiig step back. I see all your little comments defending your Kawi butt buddy.
@kx two-smoke I would make a video riding 🤣🤣🤣 it's not hard to change gear and hit the band
@@nyle1234567 yea but that guy is barely hitting the power band lol
Y’all never rode a kdx there is not a power band
You are shifting to early
He’s not in a race. He’s Just casually riding
I have this bike, it falls on its face much higher than that so he is shifting at the right time he is just not using all the gears. In 6th mine will do about 87 MPH.
@@smoke05s it ain't stock then....my bud used to have an 84 stock and I had xr200 stock, I weighed 140 lbs and the xr did 75 mph, I had a speedo....the KDX with a 145 lb rider did 71 top end....good acceleration though, but in 4th gear I would go by him easy. 4 strokes truck, 2 strokes suck
@@borismcgillicutty3042 The 91 must be faster then. It was stock because I just rebuilt it and the speed measurement was before the rebuild. I had a speedo too and I am sure it was accurate. My 12 year old rider was a little lighter than that but weight does not affect top speed when you have that much room to get there. Don't know what else to tell you.
@@smoke05s a stock KX500 would only hit about 90 top end, your memories may be muddled lol....serious, no 200cc trail bike is going 87 stock ever
Good video Joe, what have you done with Chuck?
I like your videos but was wondering how you ride all the dirt bikes on the road aren’t the police bothered?
Can anyone tell me what the case is here is it legal on them back roads or is it just luck of the draw if he sees police?
Umm I’d suggest u drop or raise the needle clip thing to possibly fix that big for first and second because my dad did on his 250r and it instantly fixed it
Finally one of your bikes runs right.
I purchased one for my uncle kdx220 and it felt underpowered. Maybe it needed a refresh top end. They do feel heavy somewhat
not the content people wanna see, they want a proper overview of a bike then a good ride. not this.
ryan m99 yeah dawg if they wanted that they’d watch something else shut the fuck up
You d realize it’s a 2 stroke
Keep the kdx because you can trail ride it and it’s faster
Haven't even seen him ride it yet and from the comments I dont want to hahaha imagine thinking an old kdx "rips" lol I'm just here for the bikes
