No they are going to merge the puck with the wrist band and might include a watch in that band not a normal watch but a smart digital watch with a health monitoring facility!?
This is my thought as well, I don't want to wear a watch and a neurolink band, and carry a puck and my phone. I think a flagship smartphone probably will have sufficient compute to be the puck. This makes me think that Meta will eventually partner with someone, like samsung (kind of like they did with rayban) to make their flagship phone capable of being the puck for these. Either that or they will need to make the puck a meta branded smartphone replacement. I also think a way around the limited battery life for the glasses is to have a recharging carrying like wireles earbuds do.
They are intending to make it possible to have your prescription added to the innermost layer of the lens, no insert, the lens will have your prescription, this also implies that you won't be able to share it with anyone else, unless you happen to have 20/20 vision.
Use case idea for Orion type glasses: How cool would it be to modify existing live action field games like Airsoft with AR tech and the player wearing these Orion glasses?

Hey Boz & Zuckerberg you cant take selfies with Smartglasses .... they never will be a replacement! I use my Ray Ban Meta's almost daily & love them immensely; dont use my phone as much! Though if i want to take a genuine (not AI generated) selfie w/my sunglasses on I will never be able to with Smart Glasses! I'm betting we humans will always want to take selfies.
A mirror? 😂 The technology will be able to create one for you. You'll likely take a picture of the background then it will superimpose you into it. You'll also be able to change the lens, the shot etc
Forget that tat, I want the ultimate technology. In empty space around you right now is abundant energy. I want a machine that will convert that energy into matter and that I can program what matter it becomes so I can have a replicator. The only problem is the energy in empty space both exists and does not exist at the same time, anyone know how to stabilise it?
@@BrianCrooks-iv8lmYes pretty much! It operates under the theory of quantum mechanics where particles and antiparticles are constantly being created and annihilated in empty space. By detecting and manipulating these particles, one could potentially 'print' matter out of the vacuum energy. First detect pairs of particles and antiparticles as they appear in the vacuum energy. These pairs exist for a tiny fraction of a second before they annihilate each other. If you could somehow 'trap' one of the particles and then 'force' its antiparticle counterpart to also be trapped, you'd have two particles of matter. You can then use these particles to build larger structures, kind of like building with Lego blocks, where you start with small particles and combine them to form more complex atoms, molecules and finally, matter as we know it.
People who are doubting this have no idea what it’s like and how impressive it is

The future is bright 📈📈📈📈🧬
Have you tried it?? Thoughts? I want to try it and be a developer for it
Many will be left behind like that stubborn guy with a flip phone
Who is ready to be in the movie Ready player one!!!!!!! Cause it’s almost here

I'll be in the forest no thanks
The 2nd and 3rd generation etc. will be great
Headsets will replace the phone in the next 5-10 years to a large degree atleast.
The puck will be your phone and the wristband will be your watch

How does this work for people already wearing glasses?
Probably with prescription lens inserts like they make for vr headsets

@@GSOG2 I was thinking something like that would probably be done.
You'll be called 6 eyes.
They are gonna merge the puck with the wrist band and gonna make glasses two times slimmer than the current one!?

Mind controlled oven? But I have adhd.
When they become contact lenses is when it's mass adoption.
It works

I hate wearing glasses or even sunglasses.
