If you're not using proxies, you should start using low resolution proxies (ProRes format) of your video files during editing. This can reduce the RAM required by a lot. Look up how to use Ingest in Premiere.
@@learnwithyoussef Usually they stop responding because you are running out of RAM. You can check the RAM usage in the Task Manager on Windows. By using proxies, Premiere will not use as much RAM and won't stop responding (as much).

you definetly want more ram, I just bought 64 gigs for 200 bucks, but just add at least 8 more

that's cool... as long the clip is < 10 sec. more than that would be a really boring job adjusting every frame.
