Went to Universal horror nights recently and they were selling the one by *playmates* for $60. Almost picked it up but the sound was terrible & the overall design was underwhelming and didn’t scream $60 value. Then came across the one by JAKKS and fell in love immediately. The quality of design, it stands & its face has a more menacing factor. The attention to detail in the bubble hair, the pull string recoils and isn’t just waiting to be snagged. The sounds are definitely more treehouse of horror too. Even the box was thoughtfully designed and not a throw away of marketing vomit. Plus only $40 which shocked me for the level of craftsmanship and you can find him almost everywhere. Definitely gonna preorder their King Homer!!
The only miss on this toy is the lack of violent voice lines. I also would’ve preferred if they gave the “yeah you stupid idiot” line to the good mode instead of the evil mode.
Found this the other day. They had one of tgese and one of Moe's phones. Had to get this as a Halloween decoration. Going to put it in wuth my wife's 47 pillows on the couch and see if dhe notices.
Quick question, will that free frogurt be either cursed, or feature toppings that will contain potassium benzoate on it?? I’ve heard that both those things are bad in certain circles...
