The reservoir on your left you talked about was Booth Wood res..The one on your Right hand side was Scammonden Dam Res..Ladybower is a fair way away from there on the A57…That big Bridge you went under at Scammonden is a notorious bridge known for people sadly jumping from when things get too much to bare… Also Fred Dibnah was the only person ever to drive his steam tractor engine over that bridge with his good pal Alf in his last Tv programme Just before he passed away.. Bless him .

The Lane closure just after J 19 is to do with the Bridge replacement which is closing the M62 all next weekend. Thats what is causing the queue just before Birch Services.
