Alejandro Iñárritu is not an Auteur, is remarkable! like Alfonso Cuaron, Ari Aster and Bong J. Ho.
Whit all the respect your Auteur tier is totally wrong except for Alejandro Jodorowsky, all the other directors are remarkable but not Auteurs. To be an "Auteur de cinema" is something else. The auteur cinema is the cinema in which the director has giving a vision exclusively his own to his own or someone else's script; he carries out his work regardless of the pressures and limitations implied by the cinema of the large commercial studios.
Godard, Buñuel, Pasolini, Tarkovsky, Herzog, Linch, Woddy Allen, Malick are Autors, well some of them are geniuses!
