It still lets you go on the internet, but you can't run newer programs or games on it, only older programs and it's too old to get more updates and run on newer computers but only on older computers.

Guys, we all need to be objective. Our appeal to Windows XP is really nothing else but nostalgia. XP was horrible when you look back at it - it was extremely unstable, had little to no inbuilt security and was very vulnerable to attacks, would randomly crash and BSOD. It was a very unreliable OS. Not to mention it would slow down VERY VISIBLY after some time of use. Windows 10, as much as it has controversy surrounding it, is superior in every way - much faster, snappy, boot times are not as painful as XP, the inbuilt security is actually sufficient enough that you don't even need external anti-virus, and much more convenient (the search feature fucking works at least)
With the right resources and minimum maintenance, XP it's much faster, much more reliable and much more stable than the bugfest/commercial platform called Windows 10, a system designed for secretaries, for people who mostly use it as a typwriter or to watch UA-cam clips (they have their smarter-than-them phones for Feces-de-Bouc and other crap "social" networks). I'm using it right now and never had any "security" issues. Of course, I have Avast Antivirus Free and Avast Online Security. There are also other security companies that will continue their support for XP, in spite of the Microsoft bullying the world to move over to their neverending updating spyware. Windows 10 represents the Microsoft policy to adapt to an ever decreasing IQ consumer level: "We know better what's good for you, even if our new solution is crap."
Even vista was challenging back in December so I’m not surprised I have since gone back to windows 7 SP1 for now then I’m going to switch to windows embedded 8.1 industry pro which is similar to windows 7 but supported a few more years of updates
