I remember the Star Wars episode 1 soundtrack was released before the movie and it had a track titled "Qui-Gon's Funeral".
That can't be true 🪦🤣

I was part of a Bystander Effect experiment for a friends project in my senior year of high school. We got permission but needed a hand full of people in case it got out of hand. We had people stationed in various places in the courtyard area as observers and to film as well as having the principle on standby. Our victim was this really petite girl that had stage make up so she looked bloody and bruised. Before class change we positioned her collapsed near a bush. When classes changed and people came pouring out a ridiculous amount of looked and kept walking. Some looked, stopped, and then continued. After about two minutes two students grabbed the chorus teacher who's back door led to the courtyard. The girl was a student of the teacher and he damn near broke down until my friend running the experiment called the act off. The principle calmed him down, but we still felt kind of bad. The principle was both pleased with the success and astonished.
In the end, anonymous people walked by an bloody, bruised, collapsed victim. Some without even batting an eye. Some ignored it. Bystander Effect is a very scary thing.
Gus, Gavin, Barbara, and Burnie! Fav combo for a podcast xD
Goeff is missing :c
Continuing my journey of watching every episode
BURNIE'S FACE @ 1:10:47 ! XD I love this podcast! Every week I looked forward to the podcasts. They are hilarious and one of my favourite things to watch on youtube ♥
For the discussion at 1:33:30, gold is highly nonreactive. Burnie claimed he could throw it in lava, but the gold would just be dispersed into the molten rock. There is a chemical compound, however, called Aqua Regia which reacts with gold to form chloroauric acid (AuCl4-). This is one of the only cases where gold can be severely altered from its usual state, but even then it can be recovered.
I thought it was a minecraft reference?
I just calculated it. Every US American dollar has a height of .0043 inches (roughly .01 centimeters). The moon is 238,900 miles (384472 km) away from earth. In this distance, there is 15,136,704,000 inches in that many miles. Dividing that number but .0043 as in the height of a US Dollar, the amount of money needed to have, when stacked on itself, to reach the moon if it were possible, would be about 3,520,163,720,931 dollars. This is if its laid flat, not lengthwise.
You.......you are brilliant
NEEERRRRDDDD
I love you
we could do it several times with the US national debt. lol. nice job.
People in this thread call me "brilliant" and "a nerd" when really I only used google lmao
Shout out to the people in Atlanta, GA. Thank You :)
i love it when its gus gavin barbara and burnie :D
Animated adventure of Burnie's frat party tales.
i remember back when i was in 1st grade i had a speaking part in a play and i messed it up and everyone laughed. I don't think i was ever in another play after that. And i hate public speaking now
That happened to me in kindergarten, I feel your pain
If it helps, no one has ever laughed at me (the opposite; I'm often complimented), and I still am deathly afraid of public speaking.
"Did they ever stuff Schrodinger's cat?" Maybe, maybe not. Who knows.
Schrodinger's cat is purely theoretical. I was making a Heisenburg's Uncertainty Principal joke.
I caught that now. Burnie was angry about people who answer with non-answers. Sorry, dude.
It is both stuffed and un-stuffed until we find the information.
MWGNDify It's Heisenberg, not Heisenburg.
arpakyna Eh, I tried.
If Gus' autographed picture of himself framed than that would definitely make it 10x funnier.
I have one memory as a baby. I was sitting in a rocker looking up at my stairs, watching my mom and dad walking between their room and mine.
" Sometimes you just wanna taste something!"- Barb
" Sometimes you just wanna FEEL!!!" - Gav
had tosh.0 on in the background while i was watching this and i happened to look up and see burnie and geoff from the drug test short hahaha
American system of measurement: imperial
British: metric
Gavin: "could you climb to the moon with that?
Best time of the week RT Podcast time!
CANDY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! There i said it! COME AT ME!!!!!!
your comment has been removed due to copyright.
Man, them talking about the Lego movie makes me remember how much I miss Bionicle. Now I'm depressed.
I would like to note, with the whole Candy Crush nonsense, that the Wheel was successfully trademarked in Australia. Just because something is trademarked, doesn't mean the trademark can be taken away.
you guys are the only celebrities i care about, it's weird but I've been watching these videos for so long i feel like i personally know you people. thank you for making my days that aren't so fun a lot more fun and personable even. keep on keeping on.
Wow, that name drop for Day 5 two years early.
On the topic of not ripping people off. When I was younger my family and I were skiing and my brother was tired so he took off his snowboard. My dad was holding it and accidentally dropped it down the side of the mountain no one skis on and it was lost. We had rented the snowboard and when leaving the guys at the store forgot about it and we were in the car leaving. My dad turned around, went back and said that he hadn't yet paid for the snowboard he lost and paid a couple hundred dollars to replace it. The guys were incredibly thankful, he taught me a huge life lesson that day.
Speaking of Bill Murray, I was at a local Wendy's on November the 12th (the day before my birthday) and Bill Murray walked up, ate one of my nuggets and said "no one will ever believe you." He then walked away like a boss,
no he didnt
^ see?
I suddenly remember sitting in a bookcase
You'll need google+ to change temperature. LOL
We have so many Peachtree streets here (Atlanta).. putting anything in GPS is basically like asking a blind guy how my outfit looks.
So Matt basically has a real-life "FUS RO DAH". Awesome.
That's one way to put it! :)
+Matthew Chia Unrelenting force is the best shout
apart from
most other shouts
I always come back to these episodes, this is the best cast RT will ever have, maybe Michael for barbra BUT Prime burnie giving his opinions on world events now Gus retired from the podcast. Sad to see a good thing end.
1:37:06 the face of Bernie Burns as he saves the day again people, enjoy it while it lasts.
the soundtrack to the labyrinth...
Gavin just became even more awesome
Feral children doesnt always have to be living in the woods. There's also that case of the young girl being neglected so much that she never learned any language. her name was Genie from what i remember.
I think Genie is an alias. As she is still alive in her 50s. She has enough problems without people hounding her down.
TheLANMAC This was a while back when I studied it back in highschool like 4 years ago. I heard she was making progress with language, but it was all for naught because she wasn't able to retain any of it.
my dog starts barking excitedly whenever he sees a park by my house because he remembers what it looks like
Burnie's right, without the trailer the reveal of Maul having a double sided lightsaber would be awesome. And I was lucky enough to not see the trailer before hand, and did get the reveal the way it should have been. Cool.
27:45
Gavin: "Imagine being a dude stepping out of that, with just 40 dead dogs behind you, just like..."
*Puts on sunglasses*
"Hoh... That was Ruff."
YEEEEEEEAHHHHHH
less than two minutes into the podcast (if you include the ads), Gavin starts talking about hymens ... talk about a good start, stay classy roosterteeth :D
I am 15 so i grew up watching the prequel trilogy so im a really big fan of the films :)
They need to make an RT Live of Matt obliterating fire hazards.
Oh my God, The Labyrinth soundtrack is amazing. My favorite movie
They did actually stuff Schrodinger's cat, they stuffed him in a box.
Honestly, the directions did help lmao. Thanks
0:52:44 Hmm, Kara and Barbara both spoiled an "upcoming project" that is a "show" that Rooster Teeth creates. I WONDER WHAT IT COULD POSSIBLY BE?
Nature Town season 2.
Infected Ezio hahaha.
smaug's face in the 1st hobbit was a clever un-reveal!
its all about 90s hip hop
Gus' face as Gavin tries to describe creating art by abandoning kids...fucking priceless.
This is the perfect cast for the podcast though I don't mind Michael whenever he's on
Burnie's reaction when he found out something is in the 'Nature Box' xD
Goofy Goober Rock gives me chills.
hahahahaha lmfao! the beginning is damn funny!! 1:10
I wonder if Kin Jon Un said "That's my uncle". Hue hue hue
Lol
"Do you like Art?"
- Gavin Free
Haha i have to same problem as Gavin!!! When i was younger i broke my nose playing football but never went to the hospital because parents didn't think it was bad. Now im 20 and my nose is fucked up.
Gold is infamous for being unreactive, the only thing that can eliminate it is Aqua Regia. Which can only be done in small amounts of gold and takes a decent amount of time. So essentially no, you can't just get rid of it
Also, it's an element, so "getting rid of it" is practically impossible unless you pull a proton off it to turn it into a different element.
1:19:16 WTF is that!? You call that a Margherita?! Oh, my dog.
English living person here. THAT IS NOT A MARGHERITA, IT HAS VEGGIES IT IS A VEGGIE PIZZA
What Gav was talking about with the A/C, you can do it on any car without having the car physically running, but what he was talking about was that it was most likely a push button start car. Most cars that are push button start, to start the car, the key fob needs to be INSIDE the car and you pushing the brake pedal to start it. But without it, in my brothers Infiniti at least, you can push the button twice, all your electrical will turn on, except your engine, and if your A/C is on, your condenser fan will spin and you will have A/C, but for a limited time because your compressor isn't running and I won't get into the whole magic of how your A/C works.
The Lego movie is NOT stop motion, its fantastic to think though that the effect has came across like that. Its NOT stop motion ;)
Im from Atlanta, Georgia, and i can conform that everything is Peachtree
Love Bill Burr. Favorite comedian.
Now I have to go to Texas and look up that street in Austin, and take a picture with it.
The memory thing. I always thought that memories were and are always just what an individual believes to have happened and may not always be the truth from both sides. It is human nature to want to be right so your mind can make it such that if you yourself are slightly unsure of an event it changes the event to make it favour you but it may not be right.
That's what i thought because i always relate memory to history. It is written by the winners so some things are lost over time however when those loosers win they bring back those lost events which everyone or least some accept as it seems real.
Psychologically, humans begin to develop memories at around the age of 3 due to the fact that they learn about the sense of self. There was an experiment done with children around the age of 3 where they put paint on the noses of kids and put them in front of a mirror. The kids that were younger than 3 laughed at the reflection and pointed at it whereas the older kids reached for their own face, recognizing the fact that the person in the mirror was themselves and that they had something on their nose. It's really fascinating to learn about. I'm sure you can find the video on youtube.
Cheers for that guys i'll look into it
I did the same thing as Burnie diving into a lake with some friends.. 30 people dove in before me, and I was the last one to jump because I was pretty hesitant about it. I was finally convinced to dive in, and I hit a stump underwater with my head that everyone else barely missed.
In lord of the rings when the fellowship of the ring, as they were traveling up the mountain in the snow, Sean Bean refused to go in a helicopter so he decided to climb the mountain
He's afraid of flying in helicopters.
Watching these and thinking back to when it was drunk tank days oh the nostalgia
I HAVE TO SEE THE FREEZER VIDEO SOMEONE FIND IT!
he has to find it every one up vote this comment so he will see it and find that video
Almost at 7 million subs! Good work guys !
So no more CandyLand game?
Or Candyman movies?
***** no those are fine its games and shirts and educational stuff i guess haha
Jaru Oh...I was kinda hoping that because Candy Crush kinda owns the word Candy that if I said "Candyman" three times in a mirror the Candyman would go after them not me...*sadface*
I miss this classic podcast combo. Gus as the Mom, Burnie as the Dad, and Gavin and Barb as the kids.
Please do get him to blow out the match! You could put it in an RTLife! It would be so amazing to see, what a feat.
The best Podcast crew :')
dat 80's music fist bump
I need to see that guys reaction to that freezer!
Austin streets sound confusing
When Gavin said the only thing he's broken was his nose I fucking lost it! I was like no surprise there and just started cracking up...
That parking garage was not Korea. It's from my crap country....Singapore xD
One time during a high school lunch hour I went to go get some pop tarts out of a vending machine. Well 2 packages fell out instead of just one (all of the machines were in need of repair, this is good ol Lawrence Central after all) and all I saw was a swarm of 5 black people just tackle the hell out of the machine to get the 2nd package. Idk if the flavor was the cause of commotion but they were brown sugar cinnamon pop tarts, pretty good.
Some people just REALLY need their daily Pop Tart apparently...
idontknowagoodusrnam
I know right, can't get enough of those pop tarts I suppose. Man those machines were screwy. And then the rare occurrence of paid item not falling out at all (which happened to me plenty of times) so you'd see people at the machines tipping them and banging against them to get their treats. I tell ya high school was vastly entertaining lol.
Language doesnt correlate with memory, but i think understanding does.
Like, once your brain is capable of understanding complex concepts, you start to remember.
Like, a baby sees its mother, and knows thats its mother, but it doesnt remember that time it was sitting there and a stuffed animal came out of no where. Ya know?
I love how gavin keeps mentioning karl Pilkington and ricky Gervais on the podcasts
My econ/gov't teacher was a victim of that target thing.
GOD DAMN IT MATH!!!! WHY CANT I ESCAPE YOU!!!
BARBARA IS BACK!!!!
barbara's hair looks really nice in this! gosh she's so cute
In response to Gavin's attempt to make a ladder out of one billion dollars I decided to do the math and found he wouldn't even get halfway there.
I am taking the liberty to assume he would use one dollar bills so as to maximize the number of bills used, one billion one dollar bills in total.
The average length of a US currency one dollar bill is 6.14 inches long. I multiplied that by one billion an obviously got a massive number: 6,140,000,000 in to be exact.
Since that number is in inches, I divided it by 12 to reduce it to feet and got 511,666,666.667 ft.
Finally I divided that number by 5280, because there are 5280 feet in one mile and got 96,906.565 miles.
The distance to the moon is 238,900 miles so, as I stated earlier, Gavin wouldn't even get halfway there if he were to stack 1 billion one dollar bills vertically on top of each other. Sorry, mate.
I did it too, but in SI units and $20 bills.
MasonTalon Don't be a douchebag Mason. No one likes a douche.
I don't think you'd get anywhere if you tried to stack bills length wise.
Genie the Ferrell child was an authentic captivity case. She and her mother we're basically held captive and she never learned a word until she was rescued at 12 and helped more thoroughly.
For the record, the hymen will stretch to accommodate any sort of penetration, and the burning sensation girls get is just that. Only under extreme measures will it break.
(this is not the kind of comment i expected to be writing opening this video omg)
Is that... Jontron?
Gavin liking the labyrinth soundtrack makes me smile. Same taste of music for same reason, grew up 90s with 80s rock
''Dead Puerto Rico boxer posed standing in the ring'' just saw this on yahoo while watching the podcast lol
damm I know what gavin feels like.. I Love 90's music... and I was born in the 2000's
I can see a Payday 2 Heist DLC comming up.....
I completely agree with what Gus said about the link between language and memory, makes a lot of sense to me.....
Why no one tells Gavin that when you drink a beer, you don't have to suck it from the bottle?
Did anyone catch Barbara's pun around 1:19:35?
"It should be called 'Don't Eat-zza'"
Lol Barb.
Can we get another podcost with matt!!!!!
Haha didn't he get really wasted the last time he was in one? If I recall, that was funny as hell..
I'm kind of upset that Gus lost the argument about memory. There was real wild boy, I don't remember when or where, but when the scientists interviewed him he couldn't remember anything because he never learned to read/speak. Our memories are rooted in language, so if we can't communicate what is going on in our heads or describe what we are seeing/hearing/doing, we can't form a memory. Gavin's statement is also valid. It is very similar to what Barbara mentioned about her "video tape" memory. Our earliest memories are very deep in our subconscious and we are unable to recall them. Our memories are very easily influenced by others if we are not completely certain about the memory. Gavin might have heard a story about when his friend was little, so when he thought back to his childhood the story was still in his mind. He associated the story with the idea of his early childhood, so he then thought that it was his memory. Both Gus and Gavin had good points, but they didn't have the information to support it.
How the fuck can you have a trademark named "Candy" its like having a trademark named "computer", "T-Shirt", "milk", "food" or "nuts"etc
damn barb almost made me spit water when she goes "have you never seen Tarzen?"
Well this sucks. This podcast wasn't from inside of a blue whale D:
mikimomo97 I was looking for a comment like this. if I didn't find one I couldn't have helped my self
Wow, They talked about Pavlov's Dogs which is mentioned in one of my college textbooks. Sweet :)
Would be funny if Bejeweled creators got Candy Crush taken down for copying their game.
OH MY GOSH BURNIE LISTENS TO MUSIC THE SAME WAY AS ME
