- I had purchased this pickguard a few months ago and finally have gotten around to modifying it and installing it on my Squier by Fender Contemporary 5 String Jazz bass. The bass has two soapbar style pickups but the pickguard has a jazz pickup cutout. The templates and jigs were fun to make and I think the end result looks really good. Man I wish you were in the states. I've been dying to change my pick guard out for my contemporary bass. Can't believe they don't sell them anywhere online!

@@GinoVee Gino, the cost of the pickguard is about $25.00 US; then the mod would be about $60; Shipping about $15? I prefer to fit them to the bass because they always need some filling ... unless you are handy😁
