    This is good advice for more than testing motor circuits. In addition, it doesn't just apply to Arduino. I program Parallax Propellers and I'm going to subscribe.

    Thank you for the Test Load with LED's tip, it's very useful lmao i blew up prob around 8 mosfets atm.

    Hello, you're videos are great. I've been watching these lately.
    I wanted to know if you can show how to make a circuit of LED flash which synchronizes with the camera and the circuit of flash tube also. And plz can u tell me how to built that circuit using standard components.

    Hey Lewis,
    First of all great vid! :)
    Based on your design i build everything up and it workes perfectly for 5V Arduino Setup:)
    Now i needed to switch to 3,3V Breadboard Setup, and as i am not that professional i guessed it should work to, but it doesnt :( any idea?
    Thanks in advance :D

    hi Lewis,
    good job. thanks a lot. I thinl LM317 is not set correctly. u'r not using it at all as u enter from input with red wire! The bulbe is supporting thecurrent feed. But appreciate your work & explanations. thanks

    I am not quite sure how to connect the LM317 to it for testing. Thanks in advance for your help.

    what is the max current that we can get....
    and if we want to current limit to 1 amp or any of our choice what should we do

    Hello Lewis, I'm starting on Arduino and so I dare to ask for something very basic but very difficult for me, what program should I do for Arduino for this experience?
    Thank you very much

    Sir I Am New To Electronics Thanks For Nice Video With Best Explanation.
    Sir Your Schematic MOSFET H-Bridge for Arduino Works With 24v DC Motor? Or Do I Need To Change Anything.
    Thanks And Regards.

      Hi, you have to add zener diode 12-16V paralel to 4,7k resistors that will protect P-mosfets gates Q1,Q3

    Can you connect dp11 to the collector of the transistor?

    • @LewisLoflin
      @LewisLoflin  6 років тому

      You don't connect any IO to a collector in this circuit. Do you mean base? Then yes. Thanks.

    What about flyback diodes? I can't find many schematics using them? Why not?

      The MOSFETs I use and most of the ones used for switching have built-in diodes.

    I am new to Arduino and parts are hard to get. I built the Mosfet H bridge that has only 2 connectors for arduino but I dont know how to program the Arduino to use it. Please help. Thanks in advance.

      It's very simple to program of you are using the correct design. Switch both OFF, switch the side you want on. To change direction switch both OFF, then switch the other on.

    Arduino code?

  • @lezbriddon
    @lezbriddon 7 років тому

    i would not have used 2 pins per side, as on power up arduino pins are random, i would have cross coupled them so worst case scenario is a bit of motor spin not a short

      If the Arduino is programmed properly this isn't a problem. That is why I used direct port access. Thank you.

      Lewis Loflin That code is CLEAN love it!

    • @LewisLoflin

      That is also why i included current limiting in case of they very problem during development.

    The information is great but delivered very patronizingly. Its just a matter of practice, so its not taken personally.

    I hate to write anything negative to you. You help thousands. I help tens. But ... The "never, never" stuff needs to be designed out at the physical layer. You can't teach young ones to use software. I'm not your DS. But I can't let this one go.
