I have always understood H-bridges a little bit, but never thoroughly. So often with electronics, people trying to teach, talk as if they're explaining what they know to another person who already understands it. In which case, it's a great explanation. But very few people ever explain things to me in a way that I can understand it *before* I can understand it, which is, of course, the whole point. Few people even understand the difference. You do. Thank you for taking the time.
From an old school audio tech I'd like to say, you did an outstanding job here! I know this does not apply directly to your video but rings true to the H-bridge. Back when I was learning analog electronics, in the day, I would have never imagined a motor controller delivering audio to a speaker but here we are. I enjoyed watching.
Nice to see you back! Very nice tutorial on the basics of an H-Bridge circuit. I'm still running about 8-9dB lower in subscribers than you - I've got a ways to go!
Bumped you up on my channel links page - hope that helps!
Afrotechmods
hey any chance of some videos on DC brush-less motor controllers
He's back. Unlike most people who don't bother to take the time to make their UA-cam videos succinct, you are on the opposite end of the spectrum and it is appreciated. Your videos = greatest info per minute of video and wasted time < 1%. I'm in on your Amazon thing.
You literally teach EE concepts better than any of my college professors. Keep making videos!
OMG IM SO HAPPY!!! Its been two years! Since I first found this channel I have become a sophomore studying computer engineering! Your videos have really given me a head start on understanding electronics and all that good stuff.
you are great! nice to have you back in action!
He's alive!!!!!! AFROTECHMODS is back and we like very much.
I’m so upset I didn’t come across this channel 5-6 years ago when I did my BSEE. This guy teaches these lab topics so well!
I am from non English speaking country. Your English is not only very clear, it is sweet. Explanation was fantastic. All doubts about the H Bridge are cleared. I am in love with the channel. Thanks
Welcome back! I enjoy your videos. Nice to see you posting this. I hope you are able to post more of them. I like the channel name as well. lol
Afrotechmods, You have no clue how valuable your videos have been to all of us. We're so glad you're back and just let us know if there's anything we can do to help keep you hear teaching us more about electronics.
Thank you! In terms of what you can do, I need to find a way to make a living off this thing and right now I'm not even close. In the video description section I describe a few ways you can support me. If you use my amazon affiliates link, you don't even have to spend any extra money - stuff you would have bought from amazon anyway will end up giving me a pretty nice commission.
Oops, read the full video description and got my question answered.
Afrotechmods I know you can make a living off this content. Your education is very apparent in your content and that's something your competition clearly lacks. The money in ad revenue is there and I think you're already out to a great start on your views/ subscribers. i'll make sure to use your amazon link and I don't mind shooting you a few bucks now and again.
Max Goodman
woohoo thanks Max!!
Thanks for sharing your knowledge by clever combinations of pictures, diagrams and the interaction with controls and reading on your oscilloscope.
Your videos made me survive an examination in electronics on uni.
Man, you have some of the BEST instructional videos on the web. I love this one on H-bridges. Thanks.
Yay you're back!
Welcome back! Missed your excellent tutorials.Thank you!
Great, Wish I had some P channel MOSFETs
Matt Heilman You can use N channel MOSFETs in every position in the bridge, but not with this triggering method.
ntomata0002
Yeah... just looks like I will need another power supply to trigger the top 2 MOSFETs.

I’m a software developer and I came here to kinda relax my brain a little. Now my brain is more tired than it originally was. In another life, I’d like to be an electrical engineer.
im educated in electronics and would like to learn software development and database server management
I am a retired ASE Master Tech who is trying to fabricate a way to do nothing. So I went to the garage, turn the door lock around to my side, welded hinges and screwed the door on & locked it. Crap, my wife is yelling the ice cube make broke!
HELP ;(. I am tired of fixing things...
Nice to see you back on UA-cam
