I saw that my grandma had one of these sets and i asked her for it and gave me the whole set! I'm very sad tho because the cups and the tea jar are very rusty and i don't know how to clean the rust away
I have a large, silver footed tray, very elaborate and weighs a ton. Got it at an auction for practically nothing. No markings that I can find, wish I knew more about the piece.
Me too!! I have the whole exact set and it's so rusty and i don't know what to do so it goes away, also i dont know if its liable to sip tea out of the cups
I’m being a pedant, but that’s a coffee set, and not a tea set. Coffee pots are tall and slender while tea pots are shorter and more rounded. Makes no difference to the cleaning though.
Wow!!! I literally just found this entire set at a thrift store!! Wanted to see how to restore it and stubled across a video of the exact set!!

This is very useful to a person who loves tea thank you
Shadow Night that person who loves tea is me
I got to admit, I like watching videos like this
I clean my silver jewelry the same way! Very handy!
What ratio of baking soda to water?
After the sword restoration video I was half expecting some power tools to be used...
As a person who procrastinate s my learning by watching UA-cam videos, I can say:
I have actually learned something useful
That's the exact tea pot that I have!
That looks like a simpler version of an electrolysis experiment without the electricity....
I have the same tea set how do I clean the rust from the inside?
This is my question
Same!! I want to take the rust out of it!! Its so rusty
Is it rust or coffee or tea stain? I clean mine with hot water and baking soda, let it sit for a night and wash with warm water tye next day

Sugar&Lace Lacensugar Yes. I have three sets and it's difficult to find information about them. I don't even know the years they're from :(
Big Fudge exactly ! I'd love to know the age of the piece.
Does this really work?
This is dolly satisfying
I have the exact same silver tea set in this video.
I just got this exact same set. Can someone tell me the value of this?
Me too!! I have the whole exact set and it's so rusty and i don't know what to do so it goes away, also i dont know if its liable to sip tea out of the cups
I recently sold mine for 120$ just on fb marketplace. But I see they go up to 200$ for a full set on esty
Lots of these sets in thrift stores. Never would have to pay more than $25 for a full set with tray.
I got a mini set for $8. With tax and shipping came out $17. Not bad.
If its silver plated please be careful some of these are pretty Abrasive
I have a tea set that is tarnished. i can try this
Wow. okay will try
Esmé Squalor sees the tea set : bEATRICE WHERE IS MY SUGAR BOWL?! YOUR LIFE IS NOT IN!
i literally have the same kettle
Can't you just soak it in vinegar? I don't own any tea sets, but vinegar is usually what I use to clean grime.
It’s tarnish not grime, it’s not dirt it’s the metal darkening
I tried it but it didnt work
I have no idea what you used.
me too
That isn’t rusty... it’s tarnished like they said in the video lol

Toothpaste and a wash cloth also works
Paris Flowers hmm the more you know
Paris Flowers indeed
Paris Flowers thank you :D
No it doesn't, toothpaste sucks it doesn't do anything. Lemon & salt/baking soda works better
I did the same process, (bathing) and when I was polishing the silver, (Wright) there’s two spots like metallic rusty, does that mean it’s not silver?
