- Home renovation updates... for today's vlogmas episode we removed the carpet and installed new hardwood floors, sand and stained floors, removed shutters and painted them, and lastly powerwashed the house. I hope you guys are enjoying the homeowner series!

Install? Where I’m from we just have to call and have it put in our name. And there’s never an issue with the previous owner (or renters for that matter), trust me they already scheduled for it to shut off (in their name). Easy.

This is so exciting. Home renos are one of my favorite thing to watch. The before and after process is so satisfying. The great thing about home ownership is that I can keep all my receipts and claim them on my tax return. Everything

Hi guys ....I loved the floor once I saw it sanded I was like she should leave it natural it kinda gives it a modern look .The shutters I loved the black idea it's gonna pop .So far I'm with you on everything .Eric has no idea that Home Depot will be his home away from home they will own him lol .Trust me when I bought my home we went through the same thing .I love Home Depot .I kinda see you doing the same color scheme as your apartment .I love the neutral ,calm look . I love this series. By the way ,I'm looking forward to part 3 . ❤

I feel your pain guys! i am in the same boat just bought my first house and striped the house of everything old. Once I got to Home Depot and now seeing the prices of things I regret getting rid of things that just needed a coat of paint 😅. I am literally at home depot everyday spending money lol but being a home owner is a stressful beautiful thing. Loving this series and congrats again on this new journey! 💕

Congratulations on being homeowners such an exciting time and yet a lot of work lol I remember being a first-time homeowner and I did the same thing except for it was the gas and I thought the gas was broken, but turns out I never called the company to turn it on in my name🤦♀LMAO its funny how one can forget that
