To help you with your fusion 360 layout, you can change the color of the "visible" face on your models, so that when you do your nesting you have a constant reminder that one side has to be up.

This is going to look awesome! When you were laying out the pieces to maximise material use, it reminded of a video I saw recently of diamond cutting - they actually 3D scan the raw diamond, map all the inclusions, and then can actually simulate what sizes of stones can be cut from the piece. Pretty incredible stuff.

Have you looked at using a wire EDM for cutting the titanium.
You would probably be able to place more parts on the plates.

Hello . when using a ball nose end mill, the worst finish is in the middle of the cutter. did not you think about milling more sideways ?? for example, tilting the material .in this way you will be using more the side of the milling cutter and get a better surface

You should definitely make more backspacers that people can buy for their knives!

John, love your work, and the path you’re sharing, but the video is entitled “Cutting Timascus”, but there was no cutting at all. Crush it!

Can't you use a surface grinder magnet??

Titanium is only weakly magnetic and would most likely move on a magnetic vise.

    Please Read...
I am a long time subscriber to your channel and enjoy the videos that you produce. However, because of the policies of youtube and their direction of not allowing free speech of many groups including conservative view point, Christians, libertarians and free thinking contributors I have decided to unsubscribe for all the channels that I view, and delete there apps from all my devices. This is not a reflection on your content which I like very much but a statement of action against youtube. I hope that you will post your videos with other providers that will not deny or restrict your freedom of expression in the content you produce. There is a new site called real video that will provide just that but whatever new site you post videos I will look forward to watching them again. We all need to stand together and not allow a handful of people or companies to dictate what is truth or what content we are allowed to view no matter what your view point is. I am going to post this message with each channel that I subscribe to just let them know that the issue is not with you but with youtube. Thank you for all the great content and the work you put into your channel, Hope to see you elsewhere on the net...
    Thanks
