I never rented an Air BNB before. I never unpack lol, hubby does though. I might hang up a few things but anything that is folded I just leave in suitcase.
I always get an aisle seat too. I also get wheelchair assistance. They take my things through tsa, I board first, and deplane last. I go to Florida once a year. I can do this!
I'm glad you and your daughter got things settled in. I know you are going to miss having her at home. Looks like Ivon missed you. And, I was glad you were home. The outfits you got are beautiful. I have not shopped at Target in years. (I do not remember the last time, I shopped at any store for clothing) Glad your trip was relaxing and stress free. (well, not a lot of stress). Really enjoyed the video and seeing the BNB.
I love to travel by myself because then I can go out to eat or leave when I want to sleep when I want to ❤
Nice tips karen ivon is a riot
I like the tan stripped shirt on you. We spent two hours in the basement macro organizing: just opening boxes, putting labels on and stacking them along the walls and since I ran out of walls, the boxes are being stacked back to back with an aisle on each side so I am able to read the labels. This will be very useful when we go back and micro declutter. We also have shelves with boxes on them. I need to go through and label all that stuff next. I also see a lot of large electric wire I think that is what it is and a box of receptacle boxes. I have no idea why hubby has so many of those. Planning on working in basement tomorrow. We work til we get tired. There is still so much to do. Thanks for your daily posts. Your videos are interesting and motivating.

Karen, glad you got your daughter settled safely into her new accommodation, also that the Air B&B you were staying in was sufficient for your needs. It was nice you got to visit the church Cresia will be attending too.
I really like the T-Shirts and blouse you bought on your travels. Plus, the book you were given sounded really interesting, I would love to hear what you thought of it when you have finished reading it. It was nice to see Ivon chillin’ with you a while when you returned home.
Finally, I know America is a big country with all its states, but as someone from the UK I still can’t get used to how American people use internal flights, like we use trains.

I'm glad you had a good trip! I will have to remember to take photos next time i rent a car. I love the mushroom shirt, going to Target today. I never shop, mostly buy black t-shirts at Costco. Who knew you'd be my personal stylists today? 🌻🍄

I know someone that made her living cleaning homes etc. that were short time rentals. She cleaned top to bottom after each visitor.
How do those rental folks know people actually washed the sheets and the towels? I'll bet some don't clean up like you did...Or like I would...I'm glad you had a good trip. I'll bet you're missing somebody tho!
I had planned a lifetime trip around Ireland and rented 4 different Airbnbs. Because of COVID, the trip was cancelled. You couldn’t even travel there. I never got my money back from one of the rentals. I didn’t pursue it very far because the whole world was such a mess during the first several months of the shutdowns. All other in country vacations for our family have worked out great with Airbnb.

I’ve rented vrbo several times. I don’t make the beds when I leave so they know which beds are used. I wash towels and if time runs out leave in washer or dryer. I do the dishes or run dishwasher. We do tidy but you’re right, what is cleaning fee for? lol
