The fourth content update for GT7 of 2024 has arrived bringing 3 new cars, 3 new events, 1 extra menu and more!
So for this first video of Gran Turismo 7 Update 1.46 I'm bringing you the notes and features which have come along with this new update to GT7.

And GT7 now has 500 cars, which is fine. Just wish we’d have more tracks, especially legacy tracks from previous games like the Seattle and New York City circuits and I really wanna see the Swiss Alps track from GT5. It was such a stunning track.
Agreed, plus more classic tracks and some NEW modern courses as well:)
I guess they won't add Seattle again, cuz it was based on a reallife road layout and one of those roads got removed and rebuilt differently

500 Cars and only 380 of them are actually Fun to drive. I just Want Tokyo R246 and Cote A Zur and i am Happy for the Next 2 Years. And Classic Grand Valley with the Blue Bridge.
My guess would be that at least half of the cars in the game are useless garage queens. After buying all cars in GT7 at least once and completing every challenge, I have created a 2nd account to test my hypothesis by only buying cars that I'm planning to actually drive. I'm curious how big my car collection on that account will end up.
It really can’t be hard to give us some more grinding races, they just don’t wanna because they don’t want us to have money

@@RE101213 There's actually a limit?! Idk if any of you tried out Forza, i obviously prefer GT7 as a whole, especially track design but in FM cars like the mclaren F1 sell for a mill max. Setting up your own races earns the same amount as a pre-made event. It literally throws amazing cars at you. No microtransactions for credits, instead car dlc packs for a decent price.
With GT7 i'm just giving up on grinding, never been able to reach 20 mill. Takes about half an hour for a half mill. I'm 34, It feels like an MMO Grind. wasting days for a single car i can't use in most events.

I hope they eventually sort the issue when you put and change from slick to wet tyres or the other way around the tyre fitted look the same as what’s been taken off not what’s been fitted

I don't do it anymore, they broke this race long time ago, making the AI pit too many times when rain is coming...Sardaigne & Tokyo are a lot more fun !
Or the Tokyo 600pp grinds in which I have heaps of them on my channel. But there's more I'm yet to upload especially with update cars.

I like the smaller updates more frequently; (seems to) lend itself to fewer bugs per update too.

I just got gt7 and mannnn for me its fun and the grind... forsure better than crew motorfest
The only thing that forza does better than Gran turismo is grinding, and it balances out that by making it impossible to attain certain cars for months at a time lol
I have GT7 too, but I actually only have just the PS4 version though of the game even though it's still really fun to play anyway and it's already one of my favorite games now too in the Gran Turismo series.

I have done the "talk to the experts" in the cafe, but only with a couple of my favorite vehicles (GT-R, Willys MB, VW GTI).
Damn shame we dont get any improvements for VR.
Been enjoying it a lot in VR lately but there's so much missing information when playing with it.
New features in gt7 brings me a good news for gran turismo 7, including skoda vision gt cars, chevelle comes back, etc, man im so excited!
Gr.4 Veyron and Lexus LC500 get the BRZ drift engine.
Gr.4 NSX gets the Rampage engine
The C1 and C2 corvettes get the C7 engine same as the C3s and C4

I have GT7 as well, but I actually only have just the PS4 version though of the game even though it plays pretty well on my PS5 that I have, and GT7 is also one of my favorite games in the Gran Turismo series too.

@4:20 I don't think they add it because of that. People don't really do anything with the café characters or brand information or whatever. But it more just to add to the automotive history library they are building. Just so it is there.
If you leave the controller for a while they will give you some information about what happened in for example 1999. Car related or not. Gran turismo is a game that just likes to add things to the timeline!
Living in San Diego, it's nice to see the scapes of the local area. I'm not sure why, but it's quite a few nicer places that could have been highlighted instead of what has been provided. A mil for the Skoda! Gonna be hard parting with that amount for this car. As for the free car, I'll take it. Maybe use it say when they make a permanent EV challenge.

I wish they would add more championships. Like those Gr3 races with the higher difficulty could have been a championship series.
And start adding more classic Gran Turismo tracks to the game

Gran Turismo 7: The Real Car Collecting Simulator
I have a couple questions in case if anyone may happen to know as well and these questions are also Gran Turismo 7-related questions:
1. How come it always seems like a lot of the updates for GT7 involve more vehicles than tracks or anything else in the game itself? Personally, I still like the new vehicles and all that come out with each new update, but it would also be really great if the updates ever added more content to them, like more tracks or something perhaps even though we've had some already in previous updates in the past. It would also be really great if there was ever some sort of offline mode or something too included in a future update although there are still a few things that I can be able to do in GT7 if I'm not connected to the Internet.
2. I actually only have just the PS4 version of GT7, but are there any differences though between the PS4 and PS5 versions of the game, or are they both pretty much the same almost? I was just wondering about that as well and I was actually almost thinking of getting the PS5 version of GT7 too, but it seems to be pretty much the same though almost as the PS4 version which I already have, so if that's pretty much the case, I might just stick with the PS4 version instead and it plays really well on my PS5 since the PS5 is backwards compatible with PS4 games anyway.
I just thought of asking these questions too in case if anyone here may happen to know about them perhaps and thanks.
One thing is for sure ... the NSX Rampage swap will make the Gr 4 races A LOT more interesting

Another ridiculous Exra Menu Cafe. Now I have a Porsche and Ferrari Cafe waiting for Invites to complete them!!! Why don't they remove the invite or at least gift the invite if they are going to include "invitation cars" in the Cafe Menu? Polyphony sucks!!!!!

The only things that make this update notable are the two new brands being added to the game. The rest of it is ‘run of the mill’ content.

The fact that the "real driving simulator" doesn't have Indianapolis, possibly the most important historical track in the world, is pretty ridiculous.
We should be able to create our own tracks in online lobbies
At this point in the game's lifecycle I would be willing to pay for a more substantial update. Maybe something like the Street Fighter series has done with new editions of the base game.
BRING BACK THE 6 HR 12 HR AND 24 HR RACES!!!! And open up more high payout circuits with no regulations for credits grind

Hello everyone I think I speak for everyone when I say we should have a open world where you can meet up with the homies if they’re just idling in a gas station, there’s nothing better than getting off work getting online and out of no where your homie parks next to you and just enjoy the car idk but with heat we would just meet up and turn off are cars and not the sunset, I don’t need to so three races for a upgrade that’s not what cars are about tbh, idk I feel like we’re going backwards in racing games. I work over 14 hrs a day so if I log in and see someone that got in a game and joined my lobby I feel like it’s all worth it.
The physics of play in the previous version were much better as if they were real, and also communication and group play in the previous version were much better, and rear-wheel drive cars are also not stable! Is it possible to find solutions to it? At least it should be from the previous version, thank you
why oh why do we still have the ridiculous car tickets?
Its time for some new tracks in this game i think.More cars and such do not make it more enjoyable, collecting drift points and a dragrace starter in online lobby's does. This game is still lacking fun stuff to do with your friends. Events should be available for a friends only lobby or such. Some online features added would make it so nicer. Please spread that message back to Polyphony.
They should make super licenses easier.. it’s impossible w controller 😭
Putting the LS7 BRZ and LS7 Rampage into the Veyron Gr4 and NSX Gr4 should be a crime, not to mention the LS7 BRZ can go in the LC500 😂

Driving the Afeela has got to be one of the most boring experiences I've had playing video games, including loading screens...
What's a oppdate is?
The recent updates have felt really uninspired in my opinion in terms of single player content; 3 cars, 3 events to use those cars in, some engine swaps, extra menus (not career mode café menus) and scapes. They just feel formulaic.
I want to know why Polyphony Digital aren’t giving us more bonus menu books, missions and championships, you know things that the community want and really making these updates feel meaningful.
The lack of events show how little effort they are putting into these updates now, there coffee was probably still warm when he/she clicked enter.
The cars they give in this update is pitafull
The only good thing about the update is the Chevelle, its the only reason this update is even worth look at, but getting those other 2 bad cars out of the way might mean next month will be better
I’d really be willing to pay $20 for an update with a track or two and some new GT3 cars

I have been playing this game for ages now... and i have received only one invitation to buy one car.. still waiting for other invitations , why does it take so long to receive a simple invitaton to buy a car ? Makes no sense! Lack of tracks and lack of decent cars... these updates are not up to standard for a game like this!
Are you not doing the campaign an daily marathon? I've gotten probly 15 to 20 invitations an I haven't used any for lack of money usually haha

Why do we not have the onky Formula 1 track in the United States? Circuit of The Americas should be in this game.
Tracks, tracks, tracks, tracks, not useless cars that nobody wants or needs.... Sony you have taken the customers monies (and plenty of it) now sort this mess out... all tht matters is you continue to take millions in sponsorship from these car companies and even go as low as trying to force watghe on customers.... you are starting to bite the hand that feeds you...... sort it out ffs
taking a month off so we feel like we have more content after makes no sense because were gonna be mad when we don't get an update for a month n everyones gonna go ape shit on twitter and reddit
Enough with the cars already (or at least give us some REALLY cool ones, such as the W124 500E). We need tracks and, even more importandly IMO, we need the ability to remove the wheel and driver's hands and set the FOV as we see fit, to get a more immersive cockpit view and sense of speed, which in turn impacts braking distances. This change alone would make me revisit the whole game...
I know this might seem off-topic, but in case if anyone may be wondering, I actually have some questions about some things in mind in case if anyone happens to know the answers to them since this is just something I've been dealing with now for the past several months unfortunately.
1. My e-mail account hasn't been hacked or anything, but a while back I noticed that my e-mail account/address has started receiving various spam e-mails and this has been an ongoing problem for me since this has been happening almost every day for the past several months. What exactly causes this to happen?
2. I might have also accidentally responded to a spam e-mail or two from before even though I didn't mean to do so, and it seems like ever since then, my e-mail account has just been receiving even more spam mail that way. What exactly causes that to happen too and why?
3. Is there also some possible way to completely stop the spam mail altogether or not? I've been reporting the e-mails, deleting them, blocking them, and even blocking the e-mail addresses and domains where the e-mails have been coming from, but it seems like no matter what I've been trying to do, nothing seems to be stopping it so far and I sometimes even receive some spam e-mails somehow from certain senders even though I already have their e-mail addresses blocked although they shouldn't be going through to me if I already have them blocked.
I just thought of asking these questions though in case if anyone knows the answers to them and I know this is kind of off-topic and all, but this is just something that I've been having to deal with now for quite some time and it's just really aggravating too although I wish it would somehow stop. I just want to know why and how this sort of thing happens, and also if there's a way to possibly stop it somehow.

I agree with all your comments, expecially on electric cars, but, this springs to mind, are Skoda and the other maker trying to show the public in general, just how the ev industry is a load of codswallop, and how useless their vehicles are ollop

@@InfinityRipper they lowered the Thrustmaster Force Feedback strength because "people were injuring themselves" and it's way too weak now to be acceptable
@tempessst weird I didn't notice anything, I only have the max torque set to 5 and that's plenty ff for me
@@InfinityRipper that patch happened a long time ago, i use both settings on 10/10 because else it's like driving without any FF which is absurd, i think only T300RS an T500RS are affected

I JUST bought the Chevrolet Chevelle its AMAZING at 579 PP with Medium Sports Tires Even downtuned to 81 % Power its still amazing MIGHT BE the Best American Muscle Car in the Game HP wise Still Sits at over 300 Kw. Anyways this Update is kinda meh AGAIN.
So they added a New American FR muscle car. PD adds a FR European event and Japanese clubman cup 550. Why not make a event to use the new car. Sooo dumb!
I know that the muscle cars fans will kill me for this, but i like the afeela more than the chevelle. The chevelle handles like a boat, but it is the best handling muscle car in game. I just don't like muscle cars.
Some ridiculous features of this update. The Ferrari 12-Cylinder Extra Menu Book that requires you to have won a game of chance and got a Ferrari Dealer Invitation - what a mess! The added race event that features the Skoda VGT on the cover art has a capped limit of 850PP and you have to detune/change tyres to enter the new VGT (the cover image) into that race. That's just poor attention to detail.
I don't understand the need for engine swaps on the Group cars either.
The Afeela is bland looking and bland to drive. The Skoda VGT is just another ridiculous single seat VGT. The Chevelle looks awesome but even for a muscle car I felt the handling was a little bit on the comedic excess side but, to be fair, I have never driven a real one.
For me the most disappointing update so far.
WTF, PD?!? 2 out of 3 cars in this update are bogus! No tuning options, not even adjustable suspension or diff. All you can do is change tire types and manual adjustment of the final gear.
The Afeela doesn't even allow you to install an adjustable ECU!
What good are non-tunable cars in a racing game?
PD, these two EVs are total low effort cars, you should absolutely ashamed of!
At least the Afeela is available free of charge! It ain't worth more anyway! This car will be a garage queen, taken out for a short test drive and then never being looked at again!
The Skoda is supposed to be some kind of hypercar/racecar crossover, I guess, so not being able to adjust handling characteristics to my driving style is just ridiculous!
Odd Kaz never gave a teaser this time around.
I think they're gonna slowly add these pointless events until they can finally say hey GT7 had more content than GT Sport... now go buy GT8.
I know it’s free DLC but this was awful. Didn’t buy any vehicles as they are lame. Events took 20mins if that and I destroyed the AI. Already had the Ferrari’s so straight away that’s done. I really hope GT8 massively improves things. We need more tracks, more longer events, decent AI that doesn’t cut you off and cars that are ten years old already.

I hope they work already on GT8. GT7 has a failed PP system that leads to clown car tuning, failed net code the online lobbies lag all the time. Lobby settings and everything online is a downgrade from GT Sport and the single player is a downgrade to all other GT Games in the franchise. Failed Game with a lot of potential
