Outstanding? I watched your video a couple of times and was inspired to try this. I made the rope twister that worked perfectly the first time and made about 12 feet of rope with jute twine. I had a very proud moment thanks to you.
A most excellent video, corporal. You have a natural knack for teaching. I say that as someone who's taught for 33 years myself. Your vids make things easily understandable. Thanks for posting all these great vids, but, most of all, thanks for your service! God bless! Keep up the good work.
Been driving my wife nuts binge watching all your videos. Your videos are by far my favorite!! Thank you for making bushcraft easy!! Thank you for your service Corporal
This right here is classic Corporal Corner. The sound track was impressive and well put together. The victory push ups was a great touch and sets the tone for the years to come.
love your style of videos you make it very black and white, really easy to learn from you. your a very good teacher and this is something that I have to do after watching this. thank you for your time and service and look forward to your next videos
AWESOMELY OUTSTANDING!!!!! You are an exceptionally talented and skillful instructor being able to break down your instruction into small blocks so it is easier for anyone to absorb. Having been an instructor myself I am thrilled when I see another instructor so thoughtful in his presentations to break it down for those who may need a little more detail. Keep up the superb work and thanks for sharing your skill and knowledge with everyone.
What a great group of videos. Thanks again for taking the time to show us novices. Not sure if you are aware or not but the volume of your voice is very quiet compared to your attached music. Not sure if you use a wireless mic or not but I have to turn up the volume to hear your voice, then my eardrums get blown out when the music starts. FYI. Peace, Reese
Thanks My friend, this is a great technique, and one that is often overlooked, cordage is taken for granted. I gotta tell you, been a sub for quite some time and I always look forward to your posts, great work Brother. Thanks.
Hey Corporal, awesome videos :) I followed your instructions in this video to make some rope out of Jute twine, but the finished product was quite loose. How do I know when I've put enough twist into it at each stage? BTW hot tip for anyone reading this - the handle from the scissor jack in your car's breakdown kit works well as a rope twister if you're doing this at home.
I love your style of instruction! I would love more details on the rope itself. Do you know some kind of rule of thumb to figure out how much stronger a rope gets per strand versus a single strand? (assuming I know the strength of a single one)
Interesting... You got your bushy stuff down... LOL Never seen this method done before, but looks like it works pretty well... Is this out of Davids advanced Bushcraft book?
Never seen this, very interesting...but shouldn't you have ended up with about 50 feet of rope at the end? You started with 400 ft and folded it in half three times.

Outstanding series
Thank you for reminding me how sloppy I have become in lashing ends of rope.
Fantastic video.
I recently made about 20' of rope from sisal twine. Good, low cost project. I'm going to try making some cordage from plants next.
Absolutely amazing!

Right on brother... Have to get that one...
Ppl will often leave longer “legs” at the bottom of the a frame to keep their pack out of dirt and wetness when leaning against a tree, etc
EPIC!
What made you use the jute instead of the bankline?
To impress a chick, helicopter stick. Helicopter stick? Yeah, helicopter stick!
Never seen this, very interesting...but shouldn't you have ended up with about 50 feet of rope at the end? You started with 400 ft and folded it in half three times.
They are great books are'
Only problem here is the fact that you need multiple forms of cordage in order to make cordage.

My rope twister kept coming apart.
Starting a series with Part 3. What could possibly go wrong?
Great video, terrible sound quality!
