We don't talk about woman caves because in society the house is seen as the women's space and a man needs to creat his own space aka a man cave. This is of course sexist and I love seeing people break patriachal structures :) Great job!
Yes, women have to take care of the whole house but we don't have a space just for ourselves. Men enjoy the whole house being taken care of by their spouse, but also need a "man cave"?

I don’t know why but the editing style kind of gives me a similar vibe to like 90s early 2000s teen movies (I think that’s the right time for the movies I’m thinking of?) in the best way possible because it gives a kind of comforting feeling and way more personable and like you’re actually in the thoughts of the person it’s about
The cinematography in this is amazing, it felt like an entire movie in only 12 minutes and I was so invested from the start. Honestly I think I could watch a whole tv show in this style ❤️
This was calming to watch, because lately on yt it's either "WE ARE GONNA DO SOMETHING AWESOME AND ENERGETIC" or "watch me as I do my chores asmr-ly with gentle music in the background". This, was actually calming, on a normal level, and interesting. Loved it!

This soooo poignant and inspiring especially since I've (29F, Asian American) been wanting to get into woodwork but dont have the expensive setup nor especially the confidence, even after taking classes. I loved finally seeing someone who looks like me woodwork and create with so much quiet confidence, joy, and skill. Honestly in my classes it was 90% white men who, without fail, always made sexist comments about their wives or other women they knew. Thank you for sharing your passion, in such a cool format no less. Would love to see future videos about your setup, how you learned, woodworking tips, etc in the future if youre so inclined.

First, our dogs, tend to gravitate to my wife. Although my lab at 11, loves dad time as I try to drink my morning coffee and catch up on the news. Secondly, looks like you have some experience with the tools and have a small area for tool and wood storage. Your reading room looks nice. I retired a few years early, our financial planner, said go for it, I said goodbye to corporate life, ahh. I have done 6 projects around the house, some small, some large. What I found, it keeps the mind humming, as a think, plan, study and start/stop , think some more then execute. Tried one concept for floating shelves, year later removed it, then i used a steel bracelet system, much happier. Don’t be scared to try again with an improved concept. Biggest issue I ran into, nothing is square or 90 degrees.

In german we have the term "Frauenzimmer" (womens room) which back in the day was usually one of the only heated rooms in a castle. Which was much used by the ladys who had to stay home while their male family members did knight things. Sadly the term later got used in a demeaning way of corse🙄 so i guess in english there also could be a similar word cause they had so many castles in britan🤔
