This is one of the most beautiful k-drama in 2018, but also the most sad ending k-drama I watch in a while... I love all the songs ost....
I still crying 😢 But at least they end with a small hope
I've learned after watching this and another historical drama(won't name it so it won't spoil for others) that I should probably stay away from historical dramas if I want happy endings... But they're so good though.

The soundtrack is full of such sad heartbreaking songs. The things that originally drove Eugene were enough to motivate him, but in time he'd finally find what would drive him to give his everything.
Finished watching the show today and so far no. 1 k-drama for me, right after Itaweon Class and It's okay to not be okay. This song kills every bit of my heart because it reminds me of the scene when Eugene was released from jail and he's imagining her across the fountain ☹😭 I was feeling hopeful that there will be a happy ending, unfortunately, the hope broke 😑☹
Finished watching Mr Sunshine a few days ago and I still can’t get over the ending. Thus song is heart wrenching. 😢 I desperately wanted Eugene and Aee Shoo to be together. I am still listening to the soundtracks and still mourning the sad endings. Loved Me Sunshine. It will stay with me for a long time.?

I was on the verge of crying because 90% of our character died I was on the edge when Goo Dong Mae die but Eugene made me drop a single tear TwT because I could relate to Eugene a little. I don't like and love my country because it's corrupted and when I return once in a while I feel at awe

Under that culture woman are not supposed to see man alone (especially noble family women) and they have to keep apart. In addition, the Korean law at that time dictates if two man/woman from different classes married, they will be prosecuted. She didn't want to put him in any danger. I think at one time her gun teacher discussed this with her and told her their relationship will not be accepted by the society (although he will always support her).

Saya masih belum move on masih sesakit itu kehilangan ketiganya. Bahkan bagi pemain yg lain sangat menyatu dalam cerita. Sungguh menjiwai bagaimana cara mereka berjuang demi kemerdekaan... Mempertahankan bangsanya... 😢 Saya menangis ketika mereka mengangkat dan mengibarkan bendera korea sambil berlari melawan tentara jepang. Sungguh saya terharu... Saya menangis... I just watched this serie. Beautiful serie. I also read all the subtitles which usually is a turn off to me. This is really my favorite serie from starting to watch Korean TV series ( had watched 4 before this one). Watching it again on Netflix. It is the first time that I watch a serie a second time in a row ( among all series whether Canadian or American).
