Ikr?! It would be so great if she could come with Eivor. They'd be such a power couple. Not necessarily romantically but that as well, their chemistry was off the charts, much better than with any other
Five ways that connect you. Four winds bless you. Three heads you kiss. Two fateful heels that will make your bowl feel -under them. On the hill of Tara standing, Lia Fail. I am the stone heart of Inis Fail. The heart where secrets known are hidden. The heart that recognizes all desires. The singer that sings only under the heels of a true King. I sing the Inis Fail song. Truly your desire for Ireland. I will break my silence. My cries will be heard in the fertile field, in the breath of peace, in the beneficial mist. They led me to the hill. Who begged my will for the five. They are said to protect the country. And directing an Inis Fail song.
Because it’s like the old gods of Mother Earth are speaking to your from your ancestors time❤️I cry too! I’m 70% Irish, Cornish and Scottish the rest is Swedish so this speaks to me on a pagan heathen level because I worship the old gods! Maybe try and get into druidry or wicca!
Even though I'm most likely a little bit Irish, most of my ancestry came from Germany, Italy. This made me cry a little as I witness the beauty of the Irish language.
Might be the old Irish for the plural but it's been conformed to the usual rule set for Amhrán: Uatha AINMNEACH amhrán ▪an t-amhrán GINIDEACH amhráin ▪an amhráin Iolra AINMNEACH amhráin ▪na hamhráin GINIDEACH amhrán ▪na n-amhrán
though the lyrics are the same the game provides, it somehow feels like some words are missed on 1:15.. there is a t word after an and before nach.. or I could be wrong..
It could be because Julie Fowlis is a Scottish Gaelic singer, but this song is in Irish Gaelic, so she pronounces some things a little differently out of habit possibly
@@NiaJustNia Nah, it's definitely missing words, after she sings "fhíor-rí" for "true king" she breaks for a split second and then sings "amhain" which means "one" so the translation should be "one true king", not just "true king". I don't think it's uploaders fault because I think the game has the exact same mistake.
It is the best guess they have at ancient Irish Gaelic. Nobody really knows what it sounds like and it took a lot of effort by Julie Fowlis to recreate this sound. Personally this song is amazing and makes the DLC.
@@Tigs2 this song is amazing i love ancient accents/languages especially super foreign one's and i totally agree on that this made the DLC i've sat there listening to this song for like a good solid hour. In gam
No matter how many times you see the translations to English for a song, it always sounds much better in it's Native Tongue
This song is so beautiful❤ and divine😇
This song was the best thing from the DLC
And it's not even close! Well, Ciara, generally, was the best thing about the DLC.
@@sethbaruti4367 Not even close at what?
@@Marquis-Sade he means the song was so good there is not even another contender as to what was best about the DLC.
@@Tigs2 Oh I see. Yeah, thats true.
Flaan was my favorite one
This song makes me miss Ciara as if she was real 😂. Ubisoft should have made it possible for Ciara to stay at Ravensthorpe

Thank you so much for this English translation!
I love Celtic music better than our music today it's got the vibes of festivals and celebrations from the days of old
