"To pluck the strings of destiny." Fun fact: In Norse myth, everyone's fates, even the gods themselves, were woven by the Norns, and once spun were immutable. You could never defy your fate, which is why the gods knew they were all destined to die come Ragnarok, no matter how they prepared (and prepare they did). You can't defy your fate. . . but you can embrace it, take it into your own hands. Pluck the strings of destiny, as it were.
The Norns carved the fate of everyone into wood, the narrative director of the game said that the weaving metaphor worked better for the story so they went with that instead. Also the name, of the Norns Urthr, Verthandi and Skuld, translate to Has been, Becoming and Shoud. Fate was not immutable save for Ragnarok, and it was our decisions that solidified the fate of us and all those around us as represented by the Web of Wyrd.

It's also a matter of timing. The first great cover of a song will often get more traction than an even better version published later, etc. Could be the group was re-doing popular numbers before and this was just their first first. The good thing is that once a group gets some attention, they usually find a loyal audience who will go back and find the rest of their bangers.

The "Ravens soar" part of the song actually makes sense. Vikings were sometimes known as the "wolves of the North", and real wolves actually have symbiotic relationships with ravens. Plus I'm assuming that's a raven perched on the man's shoulder.

If "Miracle of Sounds" would be travelling in time to the Viking Era, they would be worshiped as Asgard's Bards, and the warriors and shield maidens would be singing their songs in unison on every feast.
Lyrics: Ships on Vigor of the waves are skimming, Barren summits to the Verdant Plains, each horizon is a new beginning, rise and reign. Far from the Fjords and the ice cold currents, Ravens soar over new frontiers, songs and sagas of a fate determined, Shields and Spears. Vows of favour or the thrill of plunder, pull together for the clan and kin, clank of hammers and the crash of thunder, pound within. OH-HO-OH! The echoes of eternity! OH-HO-OH! Valhalla calling me! OH-HO-OH! To pluck the strings of destiny! OH-HO-OH! Valhalla calling me, Valhalla calling me. Sails of swaying on the crimson rivers, blood and glory in the fighting fields, shields a' shatter into splintered timbers, Iron and steel. Fires are rising and the bells are ringing, glory take us into Odin's halls, golden glimmer and the sound of singing, Asgard's Call. OH-HO-OH! The echoes of eternity! OH-HO-OH! Valhalla calling me! I'm surprised this song was the one that went viral. Miracle of sound has been making incredible music for years now.
Dont be surprised this one is so good
It's also a matter of timing. The first great cover of a song will often get more traction than an even better version published later, etc. Could be the group was re-doing popular numbers before and this was just their first first. The good thing is that once a group gets some attention, they usually find a loyal audience who will go back and find the rest of their bangers.
I’m not surprised at all! This song is Gold!

The "Ravens soar" part of the song actually makes sense. Vikings were sometimes known as the "wolves of the North", and real wolves actually have symbiotic relationships with ravens. Plus I'm assuming that's a raven perched on the man's shoulder.
Your songs seem to not only be inspired by these video games and series, but also sort of summarize and even build upon them. This song captures the fiery fighting spirit of the Vikings in a way I've rarely seen before. Keep up the 5-star work!
In the game you play a viking called Eivor the Wolfkissed from the Raven clan so yeah the developers thought much the same it's safe to say.
…Eivor….
Pretty sure Ravens had a massive part of Norse mythology too, believe Odin had 2 pet Ravens who would report on everything happening in Midgard.

Ships on Vigor of the waves are skimming,
Barren summits to the Verdant Plains,
each horizon is a new beginning,
rise and reign.
Far from the Fjords and the ice cold currents,
Ravens soar over new frontiers,
songs and sagas of a fate determined,
Shields and Spears.
Vows of favour or the thrill of plunder,
pull together for the clan and kin,
clank of hammers and the crash of thunder,
pound within.
OH-HO-OH!
The echoes of eternity!
OH-HO-OH!
Valhalla calling me!
OH-HO-OH!
To pluck the strings of destiny!
OH-HO-OH!
Valhalla calling me,
Valhalla calling me.
Sails of swaying on the crimson rivers,
blood and glory in the fighting fields,
shields a' shatter into splintered timbers,
Iron and steel.
Fires are rising and the bells are ringing,
glory take us into Odin's halls,
golden glimmer and the sound of singing,
Asgard's Call.
OH-HO-OH!
The echoes of eternity!
OH-HO-OH!
Valhalla calling me!
OH-HO-OH!
To pluck the strings of destiny!
