H’s a very kind and generous man. I waited in line 6 hr to get his autograph on a tape and C/D and his manager said he was done. I was next in line and he looked up to see I was standing there with his music in my hands so he said he’d do one more and was able to get my picture with him. This was in the 90’s before kids. His wife was there and she wasn’t a happy person at all. He’s always had a special place in my heart. ❤

Garth is a phenomenal artist. He is known for thinking highly of him

I used to be a huge Garth fan. Had all his cassettes and even tried to hang in there during his Chris Gaines phase. But now, idk how I feel about him. He’s no longer a singer for the working man. His concert tickets are out of reach for so many working class families. Not easily swayed by these stories…have to wait it out and see. This will be so sad if true. But no matter, he’s still not the artist he was in the 90’s.

Why didn't the "Jane Roe" quit when it all supposedly started the SA & other things. No she stayed on!.. If this started in 2019 why is she filing suit now 5 yrs later. When women wait years to file or don't just walk away from an employment bc of SA & other things I don't believe them. I who have been in that situation quit the job even tough I needed $$ to live. No job was worth it. I say shame on her & other women who have kept working for a celebrity or meeting them in hotels & cry wolf many many years later. They are using the celebrity. You got what you wanted while allowing things to happen. Shame on these women I have zero sympathy for them.

Lady C had a video on in relation to the recent accusations levied against Mohammad Fayad not only long after they supposedly happened but also after he died. She is very clear on her stance: Those women (most of them employees) were not held against their will ; they could have walked away after the first incident of inappropriate conduct but chose to stay because of the good paycheque. IF indeed there were any questionable actions by Garth Brooks (and I don’t believe for a second that there was), she could have and should have walked away right then & there. IMO, this is a bloody get rich quick scheme by a hustler.

I loved Garth Brooks. Met him once. I was overwhelmed by his charm as was my husband. One other person charmed us in such a way and that was Bill Clinton. Both my husband and I felt that when people are that good at “owning a room” and getting your admiration, it’s a red flag we felt we needed to be aware of. Living in Los Angeles, one of the things you learn quickly is all is not always as it seems. I will reserve judgement on both him and his possible victim. Keeping in mind it’s very difficult to come forward with this stuff. Let’s see how this plays out. PS.. it’s easy to say you would hightail it out of there… much harder to actually do when it’s someone who pays your bills and who you trust, especially with someone as powerful as he is. Hope it’s not true but that old red flag is waving in the wind right now

You can't assess a situation like this as a third party. Sometimes people deteriorate. Sometimes drugs and alchol play a role. A jury is the best way to assess. Sometimes they get it wrong, but mostly they do a good job. This will have to go to trial now. If Garth settles now, he is presumed guilty and his career and family are over

I'm not into country music so am not at all familiar with Garth Brooks' career or reputation. Therefore, from a fairly neutral standpoint, my questions about the allegations are: 1) If being harrassed or abused, why did the woman continue working for him? 2) These are crimes, why was her initial stance to demand money for silence, rather than making a police report? Either of those issues makes the accuser appear less than 100% credible. Both together has me thinking "Hmm, I don't believe a word. This stinks to high heaven."

So let me get it straight. He walked out of the bedroom “naked” and said inappropriate things and then he sexually assaulted her. So why didn’t she walk out when she saw him? Nothing about this makes sense to me except the part that she wanted to extort money from him. I don’t believe in tearing down a lifetime of living an ethical and honest life without some pretty convincing proof. Also, where are all of the other people he’s assaulted?? 🦗.

He’s 62. He has had an enormous career even with the hiatus to be near his girls. He always travels with his wife. There has been no issue over all of the years except when he got together with Trisha (before or after split with first wife). I have a really hard time believing that suddenly, he’s a rapist. It is really fishy to me when lawsuits come before criminal charges, but now, a lot of women will come out and accuse him of the same. I hate to say it because of course this is a serious clam, but women often claim SA when it didn’t happen if the accused is rich. That will end careers and I’ve seen it happen to men whose lives were destroyed. If Garth did this, then he needs to be held accountable for it, but if it isn’t proven, he should not have this shadow over his head.

Several years ago tried to watch one of his concerts (because I do love some of his old songs) that was available on tv or the internet somewhere but I turned it off because he would interrupt his songs to opine on himself and his 'deep' thoughts. But what I don’t like is that people come out and lie and then when they prove in guilty of an accusation, it makes it harder for the people that really have had essay happened to them. But if she saying she has text and the hotel thing well then she has to provide that because that would be definite proof and if she doesn’t provide it, then I’m a little skeptical. Color me skeptical BUT who the heck knows. Everubody is handing out honorariums here and the vast majority only know him from his music, concerts and personal apperances. He's a showman and entertainer so who knows what personna he is showing everybody and if that is the same one he puts forth when the cameras and mucs are off. I like his music and appreciate that part I do know.

I like to believe the victim, but this one I’m having a hard time with. Not that he’s a saint, but one article I read that he wouldn’t get a second room, I found that a bit hard to believe.
I’m going to say the victim might have a battle on her hands. I don’t think there were any whispers about him in all the yrs of his career.
If others come out, maybe, but I’m not expecting any others.
