you can also tape it again (i mean double taping a single ball). this will make it tougher especially on a concrete surface where the tape comes off quickly.
i'm from trinidad, and i never heard of taping lawn tennis balls until the 1990s when i met some asian students in university in ontario. we used lawn tennis balls for windball, not regular cricket; in windball you throw instead of bowl. i was shocked to hear the students refuse to face bowling from a cricket ball without pads. it was as if they had never even heard of such a thing. in trinidad we used pads only in organised cricket matches, not just playing in the yard. i miss playing cricket.
it is because cricket is very dangerous without pads I almost broke a leg once (lbw) because the ball hit the leg. Those things (proper cricket balls) are heavy and do hurt.
Hi sir a question can we use white tapes instead of yellow with the same way and if we can then can we use black tape to tape it in middle for line . plz reply.
it doesn't matter but it it is better to have contrasting colours between the seam and the rest of the ball (black and white, red and white, yellow and green etc) just make sure if it is green have green for the seam not the rest of the ball.

Most people have never played with a proper cricket ball as it's only used professionally. We play with tennis balls on any open or confined space

You can mix any colour you like ..but it will make it difficult to judge the ball when you play

totally wrong, you have to wrap it across the line, not along the line.

LOL I was doing this back in grade school back in the late 80's / early 90's. Not a new technique what so ever.
